Explore the traditional old town of Koh Lanta and get a glimpse into local life Take a peaceful stroll into the mangrove forest at Tung Yee Peng village. Visit the Tung Yee Peng Village, a small village on the East coast of Koh Lanta. The mangroves here are almost as big as the island. At the edge of the water, a bridge welcomes you and on the other side, there is a cement path going through the mangroves. Mangrove roots create a quiet and protected area for fishes, crabs, oysters, lobsters, and shrimps. Take a longtail boat to explore mangrove areas and watching the variety of local fauna - colorful birds, mudskippers, fiddler crabs. Stop at the monkey point. Ein überraschend wunderbarer Ausflugstag! Die Fahrt durch die Mangrovenwälder war entspannend und aufregend, denn ein kleines er süßer Affe kam an Bord geschwommen und wir durften ihn mit frischer Ananas füttern. Mittagessen dann auf einem tollen Berg Restaurant mit toller Aussicht. Fahrt danac...

Die Fahrt durch die Mangrovenwälder war entspannend und aufregend, denn ein kleines er süßer Affe kam an Bord geschwommen und wir durften ihn mit frischer Ananas füttern. Mittagessen dann auf einem tollen Berg Restaurant mit toller Aussicht. Fahrt danach noch nach Old town von Lanta mit etwas zu kurzer Zeit zum bummeln. Dann auch noch ein Ausflug zu einem tollen Sand Strand - insgesamt einer meiner tollsten organisierten Ausflüge ever! Sehr empfehlenswert und alle sehr freundlich!Cameron_C

This is a trip best done early in your visit to Koh Lanta. The trip shows off the entire island and will leave you with a list of places to revisit during your trip. I will say this for the tour - you have to trust the process. Booking it from here on Viator, there isn't a lot of itinerary info...
This is a trip best done early in your visit to Koh Lanta. The trip shows off the entire island and will leave you with a list of places to revisit during your trip. I will say this for the tour - you have to trust the process. Booking it from here on Viator, there isn't a lot of itinerary information, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were taken from our hotel to a cute fishing village that requires an entrance fee of 20baht per person. From there, we went on a longtail boat through the mangroves, met a monkey, learned about the forest and saw a bunch of wildlife. At this point, I assumed the boat was headed to Old Town, but instead we went back to the fishing village and met up with our tour guide and her truck! She drove us all over the island, took us to a beautiful lunch at a cliffside restaurant and shopping in Old Town. Really, an amazing experience and we learned so much about the island.Orilla1956

Mangrovenwald - Tour aufm Boot, es war interessant. In der Old Town allein einstündig bummeln, aber ziemlich zu kurz. Während Bummeln in der Altstadt war Mittagszeit, es war zu heiss. Die Veranstalter waren bemüht die schönen Seiten von Mangroven-Wald und Koh LANTA zu präsentieren. Letztendlich gibt es aber noch all zu viel zu sehen. Mangroven-Wald hätte man privat genauso privat billiger buchen können. Aussichtspunkt und Restaurant waren eh auf dem Weg. Ein Strand was Welt zu...

Ein Strand was Welt zum Schluss besucht haben war nicht bessere/anders als alle anderen. Am Eingang von Mangroven-Gebiet hat man versucht uns weitere 20,- Baht abzuluchsen… ohne Erfolg;) Gipsy-Dorf war einfach dreckig, zugemüllt und unpräsentabel. Essen war ok, für Sonderwünsche hat man sehr hohe Preise verlangt. Im großen ganzen hätten wir in der Zeit für das Geld was besseres machen können. Auch wenn die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und bemüht waren.GungSan
