Great cultural knowledge, seeing and talking to real people who experienced all what was explained during the tour, and learning a bit of the Xhosa language.that was fantastic . learnt also about King Langalibalele who was imprisoned coming all the way from Zululand

It was a very interactive and informative experience. We also learnt the culture of the Xhosa people including circumcision and how they treat their family members after this ritual. We also saw the great job by the city of Cape Town who are replacing the shacks with a better accommodation. This is tge very informative tour and I'll do recommend to anyone who want to learn about South Africans especially the Xhosas

Reading about the townships in South Africa is one and visiting is totally different. On our visit of Langa we were brought face to face with township life. It was a great experience as it involved party driving with most of it covered on foot. The interaction we had was totally amazing as we were taken around by a Xhosa tourist guide Zamile who grew up in the township. He took us to the first township hostels and we had an opportunity to interact with the locals. This was a well planned tour by Raw Tours. We also visited an African witchdoctor which was quiet fascinating Lots of history and culture to learn. Highly recommend.

Langa was an interesting place; we met some locals who shared some stories about the place with us. We were taken around the township by Remi and his team to see some arts and crafts; which we thought deserved some recognition as they were so amazing. While in Langa we were treated to some African food. This tour to Langa was very humbling as we learnt a lot about one of South Africa's townships. If you haven't visited Langa; I strongly recommend that you do ;as there is so much to see and experience there.

Our tour guide Mr. Remi was excellent! He was very knowledgeable on the history and current events of the Langa township. We first stopped in an arts and crafts meeting place and met some of the township residents. It was a very humbling experience and one well never forget. I highly recommend the tour and you gotta get Mr. Remi as your guide, you won't be disappointed.

Out of all the Tours I went on through Raw tours, this one made the biggest impression on me. The Langa Township is full of beautiful people with amazing hospitality and culture to see. Be prepared to be educated by locals about what the history is with this township and social norms people share with each other in Langa to make up the amazing culture that is there. Ask for Remmy, you will not find a better guide to share this experience with and he will take very good care of you.

Remi is phenomenal with the knowledge he possesses of the local townships. He’s built relationships with the locals so you don’t have to worry about your safety. He took us to the Langa township where we met some very nice people and bought some of their crafts. Remi helped us navigate the slight language barriers and made sure we had safe rides to and from since it was rainy and very windy that day. I highly recommend Remi for touring Cape Town, he’s an expert!
