Omar was on time, friendly and clean car. Trip to waterfall was terrific if not longer due to Bogota famous traffic. The waterfalls was beautiful. He walked to ticket center and we were off to hike the trail. Hike was about intermediate with some climbing. The views was amazing as well as the lunch that was included. After eating lunch the second waterfall was there to view.

Amazing views on the drive there (took about 1.5 hours) into the panoramic valley east of Bogota, and then freedom to hike to three main places - Cueva de los Monos, La Chorrera, El Chiflon - plus some 'off-piste' options. Great views, good hiking (some mud/slippery rocks so take good shoes), and a good lunch. All well-organised by Peter at YourColombia who was very responsive on communications.

The whole experience was fantastic! As soon as we booked the trip through here, the organizer, Peter, got in contact with us through WhatsApp right away to give us the itinerary for the trip. He was also very reachable and available for any questions that we had. The day of the trip, we got picked up at our hotel, drove to the park where the driver got down with us to purchase our entrance and lunch tickets. The hike to La Chorrera is not the easiest so definitely eat a big breakfast before! It took us about 1.5 hours to make it to the waterfall, and the same time to walk back. The path is also very clearly marked and organized, and there are park staff along the way in case you need help. The lunch area near the smaller waterfall, El Chiflón, is very nice and the food is delicious. Overall an amazing and breathtaking experience; highly recommend the journey and booking through this agency!

Thanks Sergio for letting me have such an amazing experience! The ride from Bogotá to the starting point of the walk/hike is around 1:20 hrs. For people with a medium fitness level it is absolutely no problem to go on this hike. We walked through the rain forest and the foggy forest, visited La Chorrera and the smaller waterfall with enough time for little breaks to take fotos and enjoy the landscape and nature. On the way back we had dinner at a very small Cuban restaurant, that was amazing. My guide Sergio picked me up around midday, which was a wonderful idea, as we were able to appreciate the sunset over the mountains during dinner. I can highly recommend this trip!

This was easily our favourite tour during the time we spent in Bogota. Our tour guide, Sergio, first communicated with us via WhatsApp to arrange a time and pick up at our hotel, and he arrived on time to pick us up for our private tour. He was a very friendly and welcoming tour guide and his English was fantastic. It was very easy and comfortable to communicate with him throughout the day. Sergio was am AMAZING tour guide. He is very passionate about his country and he was extremely knowledgable about the history and culture of Colombia. We had many interesting conversations with him and learned so much during our tour. The hike was moderately difficult at times and Sergio moved at whatever pace we wanted. We finished the hike with an enjoyable lunch at a Cuban restaurant before heading back to town. After the tour, Sergio continued to communicate with us on WhatsApp and sent us some information on topics that we had been interested in during our discussions. In summary, we LOVED this tour and we look forward to coming back and doing more tours with Sergio in the future! Thank you for a great experience :) Chelsea & Mike

A very good way to spend your time away from crowded Bogota. Personally, I highly recommend it: nice views, pleasant road and a guide that can address any topic of discussion. So, thanks a lot, Sergio!

Very amazing experience, but must be in good shape - the hike is around 7-10K with lot's of altitude climbing. My Fitbit reported 150+ flights of stairs. The guide was great - a Bogota local who took me on a personal tour (only me, not a group). He picked me up at my hotel and dropped me off in the city center (La Candelaria) at my request. Had a lot of passion for Bogota and very knowledgeable. Very great experience and completely satisfied.

Spectacular scenery along the drive from Bogota to the small town and then the hike to both of the falls. The hike was moderate difficulty level I would say, but well worth it for the vistas. The lunch at the Cuban restaurant at the trail exit was a fun finishing touch. Peter was an outstanding tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get out of the city and explore nearby Bogota.

It was a great private experience that gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Peter our guide picked us up from the hotel and drove us up into the mountains. He was very friendly and knowledgeable on the area's culture. We hiked to two waterfalls which took 3 hours there and back. It was a great scenic hike and I thoroughly lived it. At the end of the walk we stopped for lunch at a restaurant with a good view and a good feed. The chef was a funny/lively character who told us the secret ingredient to making the perfect mojito (which you will have to find out by going along ;) ). All in all it was well worth the money and I look forward to going on more tours with Peter in the future.

Peter made our hike an experience of a lifetime and went above and beyond our exceptions. He picked us up at our air bnb and Kept the number of participants small, only three of us. The hike was not as difficult as i anticipated but there were parts that i found to be challenging because of the altitude. I highly recommend doing the waterfall repel.

I was really happy with this tour. We started chatting on Instagram. We then moved to WhatsApp to discuss dates and logistics. Next thing, Peter picked me up from my hotel and we were on our way. The drive was great, and everything had been organised. He is extremely fit, which meant we could move at the fast-paced I wanted to. Then we stopped and rested at the Cuban restaurant, It had exceptional food. We finished early as I did the trek in about 2 hours, so Peter offered me to go past a few extra places on the way back to the city. It was amazing, and a great idea. There are not many other ways to get out to see these places, and Peter and his travel company was a great option. It was very comforting that the locals knew him by name and would say hi to him along the walk. I really enjoyed it and would recommend friends do the same tour.

I signed up for this hike on my second to last day in Colombia and am very glad I did. I was traveling alone and there were no other people on the tour so it was just me and my guide, Peter. I got to see the Colombian countryside, which was beautiful. Am very glad I was able to view the nature around Bogota and not just the city. Peter was a very accommodating tour guide who knew the trail and the people who work there. Even though the second waterfall was dry due to lack of rainfall, the hike was still a great experience due to the scenic views and having an experienced guide who knew the best way to get to the trail from Bogota and navigate once we were on the hike. Afterwards, we went for a good lunch at a little Cuban place situated at the beginning of the trail, which was a nice end to the hike. I would say the hike was a bit challenging for me, although I don't know if this is because of a recent stomach bug or due to the higher altitude. Either way, I enjoyed the fact that the hike was a bit more difficult. After we got back to Bogota, Peter walked me back to my hostel and was also kind enough to send me some pictures he had taken while on the hike as I had left my phone behind. I would definitely recommend this hike and this company!
