Yuki really did it great, we talked so much about japanese food, but she was also interested into the food where we are living. She also explained about the market itselve and the difference between shrine and temple. We enjoyed tje whole time and it went really fast.

The tour takes you around the market and you get the opportunity to try a few different local foods. The tour I was on was guided by Nina who was incredibly friendly and suggested which foods to try based on my tastes. The whole time I felt very well looked after (particularly when struggling with the heat). As a solo traveler it was great getting to walk around and chat to someone in a relaxed way.Had a Great Walk through the Kurumon market with Kota and Meg. Had a Great Walk through the Kurumon market with Kota and Meg. Learnt all about the wonderful delicacies in the market, including Kobe Beef, Sea Urchins, Soy Beans and so much more. Tasted the best tuna sashimi and delicious takoyaki. Ended up walking through a Pachinko store - that was eye opening. Great relaxed way to spend a fascinating morning with these two delightful guides.
