Inclusions
- You will board our dinghy at the beach and will be taken to Kuna, our 47' monohull sailboat.
- Depending on the wind and sea conditions, we will sail or motor to a cove for swimming & snorkeling.
- Ice Cold drinks are served: Costa Rican beers, Rum Punch, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages
- Accompanied by our First Mate, you will snorkel and possibly be taken to the beach to explore/relax
- Complementary photos are taken aboard, above and below the water! Then, sent via email after tour
- We serve a fresh fruit platter, tortilla chips guacamole & bean dip accompanied by finger sandwiches
- Bottled water

We took the sunset cruise the last night of our vacation in Costa Rica and it was the best way to end our trip! Beautiful views the entire sail ride and a very kind and generous sail crew. We would highly recommend Kuna Vela if you’re staying in Coco!

This was a wonderful tour- amazing crew and nice group. Lindsey is an expert in creating comfort and Kuna Vela communicated well about all details. Bonus: digital pictures of the experience included- we also saw dolphins!

The crew is incredibly attentive to everyone. Local beers, wine and rum punch flowed like a river while the crew hands pointed out local beaches, points of interest and taught us about local restaurants, sport fish and the various celebrities staying at the 4 Seasons Hotel as we sailed by it. The crew is incredibly attentive to everyone. Local beers, wine and rum punch flowed like a river while the crew hands pointed out local beaches, points of interest and taught us about local restaurants, sport fish and the various celebrities staying at the 4 Seasons Hotel as we sailed by it. There is nothing like turning off the motor and letting the prevailing winds carry you along the turquoise waters, completely silent, to the local snorkeling spot. The red tide was in this time so we quickly made our way to a local beach to explore a natural cave and examine the local sea life. A total naturalist adventure. It was awesome to be able to swim 100 yards from the sail boat to the beach. They offered a boat ride but the swim was what i needed. Once aboard the Kuna Vela again, we were treated to finger sandwiches and a fruit plate that was bar none. Again, the drinks and banter flowed as we were shown other areas like Gorilla Head Island (probably not the official name). Then, we slowed things down in preparation for the big show, a sunset like no other. I took so many pictures of it i had to change memory cards at the hotel.wbdc53711

this was a wonderful and relaxing experience. the hosts and guides were friendly and helpful. the day we sailed, there was choppy water and the captain was very experienced and sailed beautifully. Unfortunately, because of the wind, the snorkeling was not very good. Our guide said that the snorkeling was normally better in the morning. But we still saw fish, eels, stingray and other sea life. The sunset was beautiful. We really appreciated the small tour size, about 15 people was the maximum. All together, this sailing cruise was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica.
