Istana Negara is Malaysia’s National Palace. Its grounds are not open to the public, so the Main Palace Entrance is usually the spot where tourists take pictures. Istana Negara is bordered by a wall with the Malaysian coat of arms, featuring the Royal Insignia of His Majesty, placed on the steel bars between each fenced pillar. The cypress and casuarina-lined driveway leads to two entrances – the East Wing and West Wing.

Coomerlan was great! He was so interesting and helped us plan the perfect itinerary and added some extra stops. He held the interest of our teens and showed us things we would never have discovered on our own. Totally recommend for first time visitors who want overview of this amazing city.

This tour was very enjoyable and gave us a better understanding of Kuala Lumpur - its history, architecture etc. McPall Singh was an excellent, knowledgeable guide, who explained everything clearly and was very helpful, taking our photos and answering our questions.
