You are under cover which is great on a wet day but you must make sure you agree the price before setting off because some will do their best to rip you off. One couple paid a hundred pound for a little trip which it is not worth that. I wouldn't mind earning £50 an hour. A lot to see though with the castle and the churches but there is also a lot going on underground. The salt mines was brilliant but I would get a taxi there as it would only cost about 80 Zloty and then it is only 109 Zloty per person to go in to go in. A group of 4 could save 442 Zloty that way because the average charge is around 240 Zloty per person when booking through any hotel.Really informative and fun way to see the city. We were unfortunate to go with English chap last week who thought he was a comedian and had the right to take the mick out of everyone regardless of nationality or religion. Sadly, we were foolish...
Just wanted to give warning on a reputable buggy site not to go with adhoc drivers around Krakow. We were unfortunate to go with English chap last week who thought he was a comedian and had the right to take the mick out of everyone regardless of nationality or religion. Sadly, we were foolish enough to pay as soon as we got on buggy and so had no chance of getting our money back as money went to what appeared to be his boss. Please book through a reputable company and do not get persuaded to just do a tour off the cuff… or at least ask people getting off said buggy what it was like but would recommend going with someone who is local and passionate about their home city and not a UK ex pat who touts for the next party whilst your supposed to be enjoying your tour. It annoyed us and wish we had called time on tour within a few minutes hence the reason why I have written review to advise others.Great tour! Our friendly driver, Roman, the best! He is brilliant! We saw the key sights and were escorted inside a couple of churches. It was an enjoyable experience from start to finish! Thank you for this fantastic tour!
