We did this course whilst traveling SE Asia. It was good fun. You cook four dishes with a local Chef. Please ask for Siobhan as your chef. She was so funny. There was one guy on our course and she kept Telling him off for doing things wrong. It was all done for effect but I couldn’t stop laughing at her saying “Dennis do this and that or no Dennis not like that” Dennis did get a well Done at the end Poor Dennis. Great food and nice little class.

The class was excellent l. Our first stop was the market where we were given a tour. The different types of food were all explained in terms of what it was and how it gets prepared. Then we went to the house where we were given a menu. There were four courses and three options per course. We each got our own cooking station. Then we weee given our ingredients and lots of instructions on how to cut the ingredients and the. How to cook. We prepared the four courses and then sat down to eat them. It was delicious. You should absolutely take this tour.

I have a great cook class, were I learn to cook, one of my new favorite dishes (really recommend their(/my) Amok. The teach was great at helping everyone with their cooking. The tour to the local market and their private garden, gave a great perspective of the various ingredient and local customs. Highly recommend this cooking class.

It was really Amazing. Great Food and Great People. We cooked a 4-Course meal with the help of Sorya and her team. Everything was fresh and local (they have their Own garden where Some of the produce we used is grown the Rest is purchased on the local market).

Great cooking class with Sorya today. We enjoyed the walk through the markets to find out about the foods used in local cooking. Then we had much fun and lots of laughs cooking up a variety of dishes which we ate for lunch. Great experience.

Loved this experience! We took this course on our first day in Siem Reap. Despite the sweltering heat we had a good time! Sorya took time to show us around the local market and the kitchen garden from where all the cooking ingredients are sourced. Sivorn who taught us and helped with the actual cooking was very sweet and patient!

What a great experience! I had so much fun, thank you, Sorya! I booked this experience at the very last minute and they were able to accommodate me. Sorya is very friendly and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of very interesting things about the food, the market, and life in Siem Reap. For the class itself: You cook 4 dishes (that you pick from a selection of possibilities) and you get to do all the steps yourself. It's very hands on! The result was really delicious and very filling. They also provide water and steamed rice to accompany the meal. The place itself has very clean facilities and a beautiful herb garden that you get to tour. Wonderful!!!

Superb experience Choice of which 4 plates you want to cook. Small groups, and helpful friendly people You are shown around the kitchen garden and taken to a small local village market where ingredients including fruit and vegetables that were a mystery to us. No selling, truly authentic and great teaching, sharing of information in a small home village environment set up cleanly and basically just the way you would want to traditionally learn, and recipes included to try at home. A must for every visitor!!!

Great fun - relaxing way to spend a few hours and after cooking our four dishes, we got to eat our efforts! Tour of the food market shows you how the locals shop and the standout was the fish stall - incredible range of fresh fish to choose from. Recommended.

You get picked up at your hotel by tuktuk. The school is a beautiful space surrounded by mango trees and gardens that grow the herbs and vegetables you use to cook. You start with a tour of the local market with the instructor. You get to prepare a four course meal, with three choices for each course. The people are wonderful and the classes are small

We started with a visit to a local (village) fresh market. We met at the home and visiting her personal garden. We spent about 3 hourse chopping and preparing four courses. The instructor was friendly, knowlegable, proficient in English and very patient. I don't think this is good for children. You are standing at the stove/cooking pot the entire time.

This is an amazing and rewarding experience. It starts with a welcome, we are invited to select our own menu (4 dishes) and then a tuk tuk guided trip through the local market. She explained everything about the produce (veges, meats, fish etc). Then back to the cooking school where we were expertly guided on how to cook our own meals. And they were scrumptious. To top it off, a QR code gave us all the menus.. It is a highlight of my trip

During my recent trip to Cambodia, together with my traveling companions we decided to book this cooking class and we were all delighted! We cooked 4 dishes from appetizer to dessert, visited the local market and the school garden. Suraya our guide/teacher spoke English very well, she and the other members of the school followed us and explained step by step. I highly recommend this experience which among other things helps the local economy!

We loved this very authentic village tour and cooking class! The "village tour" was basically a visit to a local fresh food market but what made it unique is that it is exactly what it is like at a local market and not "dressed up" for tourists. Some of the smells were quite potent and the way they handle live fish and animals quite confronting. (Fish escaping from the waterless buckets are unseremonioulsy whacked with a mallet and thrown back into the bucket where it continues to struggle). The cooking class was amazing! You cook a 4 course meal and you choose what you like to cook from a menu, which is great for people with food preferences or dietary requirements. When we arrived at the home in Krong, we started with a short tour through their garden where we collected vegetables, herbs etc for the cooking class then onto chopping, pealing, grating and cooking - very hands on, you make everything yourself with guidence from the lovely staff. What's nice about it is that everything is so easy to make - you do not need to be a chef to make it! When the cooking is done, everyone sits down and enjoy the food together. So much food we could not get through all of it! Recipes are emailed afterwards, so it's great to have that and being able to apply your new cooking skills at home. This was such an authentic experience! The company - Angkor Wat Travel Tours - were amazing start to end. Booking and communication was super easy and we were picked up at our hotel and dropped of again by tuk-tuk. We did not have to worry about getting there or back - it was all taken care of. It was also great that we were a very small group - 8 people all up. I would definitely recommend this cooking class and this tour company. It was awesome!

We had a great time at our cooking class. We were picked up by tuktuk and taken to a local market were we tried a sweet donut. We were then taken to the house and given a menu to pick from a range of dishes. I don't know how Sorya was able to remember all the dishes but she was super helpful. Our dishes came out looking and tasting amazing. Thanks so much for having us.
