You want to see the real beauty of untouched nature, far from civilisation? Then our overnight tour on the Cheow Lan Lake in the midst of rainforest is exactly what you are searching for. During the day you will face spectacular images of vertical rising limestone and a spirit world of dead tree trunks, who gaze out of the water. We stay overnight at basic bamboo hut, located deep inside Khao Sok Nationalpark on the lake and will only be enlightened by the stars at night. You get the chance to spend two days far from civilization in stunning nature.

What to expect
Day 1: Khao Sok Overnight Wildlife Adventure
Stop At: Khao Sok National Park, Khao Sok National Park, Surat Thani Province
Sok National Park. Transfer time by minivan to Khao Sok Lake is approximately 2 hours. Riding by longtail boat across the Cheow Lan Lake makes it easy to enjoy the fascinating and breathtaking landscape on your way to the ranger station with the bamboo huts. Here you will check-in and enjoy a real local Thai lunch, before going on an late afternoon wildlife safari by longtail boat (approx 2h). By longtail boat we reach the most outlying areas of the jungle, where wild elephants, bos gaurus and and gibbons are at home. Then it will be time to take some rest, as we start early in the morning
We will have a local thai dinner at the ranger station.
We stay overnight at basic bamboo hut, located deep inside Khao Sok Nationalpark on the lake and will only be enlightened by the stars at night. Please note that we stay far from civilization and accommodation is really basic. We are there to spot wildlife and use closest accommodation.

Accommodation included: Bamboo hut with matrace and mosquito net at a ranger station deep in the jungle. Shared bathroom and toilet.
Day 2: Khao Sok Overnight Wildlife Adventure
Stop At: Khao Sok National Park, Khao Sok National Park, Surat Thani Province
One the second day early morning we start at 06 am for wildlife expedition by longtail boat (approx. 2h). We recommend you to keep your eyes wide open, as there is a good chance to spot wildlife.
Next, there will be local thai breakfast to strengthen you for a real jungle trek to explore the untouched nature of the rainforest. Follow your guide along hidden tracks and listen to the sound of the jungle. Another lunch and then we head back to your hotel, cruising again through the diverse landscape of Khao Sok. You will arrive at you hotel in Khao Lak approximately 18:00
Please note the accommodation on the lake is very basic. For this tour we go deep into the jungle for explore wildlife.

Mis à part peut être le confort un peu rustique du bateau et des cabanes en banbou, nous avons passé deux merveilleuses journées dans ce sanctuaire réservé à quelques privilégiés (la partie Sud du lac est ouverte au tourisme de masse). Pas mal d'animaux dont des éléphants sauvages, de superbes paysages et surtout un guide exceptionnel car vraiment passionné (Rollo). Wir haben die Tour im August gemacht, wir hatten das Glück das wir drei mit unserem Guide Rolo und Bootsführer Lu alleine unterwegs waren. Die Landschaft die man schon auf dem Hinweg bewundern darf ist beeindruckend schön. Erwartungsgemäß hat es immer mal wieder geregnet aber wir sind von Rolo gut mit Regenjacken und Caoe ausgestattet worden. Auf unseren Bootsfahrten haben wir such trotzdem viele Tiere in freier Wildbahn gesehen. Elefant , Gibbons, Makaken..., Seeadler, Eisvogel, Seeeule, Gaur... Die Hütten in denen wir übernachtet haben waren trocken und angenehm. Es gab ,, normale‘ Toiletten und eine Dusche in einem Waschhaus. Das Essen das nach den Ausflügen auf uns wartete war gut und reichlich .An der Station darf man mit den Kanus rumpaddeln und kann auch sehr gut schwimmen gehen. Es war ein großartiges Erlebnis auch für unseren 11 jährigen Sohn und wir können es jedem empfehlen!Wir haben die Tour vom 10. - 11. Wir haben die Tour vom 10. - 11. Mai mitgemacht und hatten wahnsinniges Glück das wir und unser Guide Rolo alleine waren. Es war ein supertolles Erlebnis und wir haben trotz teilweise strömenden Regen viele Tiere gesehen ( Elefanten, Warane, Gibbons, Nashornvögel und vieles mehr ). Es war alles super organisiert und auch das Essen im sehr einfachen "Restaurant" war sehr gut. Die Übernachtung in der sehr einfachen Bambushütte hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Insgesamt betrachtet, war es das Highlight unseres Thailandurlaubes und wir können es jedem empfehlen. Vielen, vielen Dank nochmal an unseren Guide Rolo. Da es sich bei der geführten Tour um keinen Zoobesuch handelt und man eben Glück haben muss ein Tier zu sehen, hatten wir gar nicht viel erwartet. Aber das Gespür des Guides und unsere stille Geduld hat sich gelohnt. Eine Vielzahl wildlebendes Getier konnten wir aus der Nähe und in nicht allzu großer Entfernung erblicken. Selbst wenn uns das nicht gegönnt gewesen wäre, so ist der Ort mit seinen kleinen Bergen und dem irgendwie gespenstisch wirkenden Stausee ein wundervolles Erlebnis. Der See ist übrigens ganz klar und lädt zum Baden ein. Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage mit sehr gutem Essen und einer spannenden Nacht, so im Stockfinsteren in einer Bambushütte. Sehr empfehlenswert!2 jours, 1 nuits... Très agréable excursion surtout grâce à notre guide: Rolo, guide allemand parlant parfaitement l'anglais. Penser à bien négocier le prix, car 7500 bats c'est un peu cher pour le tout (ils gagnent vraiment sur le logement et les repas !).
