Arrive at our offices, check in, receive a complete tour briefing. While receiving your briefing have a coffee, tea or cool drink. Store any luggage you do not require for the tour.

Stop At: Khai Nok Island, Ao Phang Nga National Park Thailand
Khai Nok, also known as Egg Island locally is a great shallow water snorkelling island. Snorkel from the beach or the boat and enjoy a wide array of Marine Life.
Local shops are built on the white sandy beach where you can purchase drinks, food and more.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Koh Khai Nai, off the East Coast of Phuket, Ao Phang Nga National Park Thailand
Khai Nai is the second of the three Khai Islands. Again this is a great shallow water snorkelling location with great marine life and coral available both from the beach and the boat.

We had the best day with our lovely guide Ning! She is the sweetest, kindest girl and was so helpful with anything we needed. The Captains were equally as wonderful and even took our little boy out snorkelling. It was a very special day for our family and we couldn’t fault one thing! The boat was pristine, guide was gorgeous, captains wonderful and the khai islands were amazing. We also had lunch at the fisherman’s village which was the best food ever! The floating restaurant that was recommended by the boating crew had some of the freshest and tastiest seafood that I’ve ever had. Shaun Stenning, the owner of 5 Star Marine, is doing an absolutely fantastic job of providing top quality service that will, without a doubt, create happy and lasting memories. Wow what a company! Saun and Sunwa are the most amazing communicators pre boat day out. I was back and forth changing things and not one time was I made to feel like a nuisance! On the day of pickup our boat arrived at the pier of the hotel we were staying at (Santhiya Koh Yao Yai) early so we could depart as soon as WE were ready. Chris and the crew were awesome and happily accommodated changes to the itinerary so we could lunch at a beach bar instead of the floating Island (highly recommend the beach bar great food and atmosphere!) We swam in deserted cave with no one else, got to the kayaking spot before the hordes and even to James Bond island before the big boats arrived. We just kept ahead of everyone all day! The snorkelling was a little blurry given the rainy season but we still had fun and saw some black tip reef sharks. We also stopped to chat the the jelly fisherman which was so cool to see them catching the giant jelly fish! At the end bed of the day we fed the remaining tropical fruits to the monkeys then had a bus ride into Patong to shop before them driving us back to the hotel. I didn't have a chance to do my research on things to do in Phuket before coming on vacation, but a friend that lives locally recommended going to Khai Island since it's not too crowded and is a short boat ride from the mainland. I was going to initially book the tour with the hotel but found 5 Star Marine from Tripadvisor. With the many highly rated reviews, I did a private booking tour to the islands. I'm so glad I did. I opted to not have them pick us up at the hotel since we had a rental car and it would be easier to get around ourselves. Getting to the marina and parking is super easy. The boat we were on is very clean and modern. They had all the equipment available for us to use. We visited the two Khai islands, Rang Yai island, and the floating raft restaurant. We also did snorkeling in several locations. I went with my older parents and they even helped my dad get into the ocean waters to have him float around on a large floatation device. Several times the crew also prepared delicious fruit snacks for us and they also had cold water and soda. Captain Kong gave us a terrific tour narration and answered all of our questions. Kong and his crew are really the best. The price paid was extremely good since you cannot get anything like the experience and service like this in the US. Will happily book them again for future tours when I come back to Phuket. Thank you 5 Star Marine for a terrific time!
