I usually want to get away from typically touristy areas and learn what a city is like for a local and this tour gave me a chance to do that. The guide took us around some really interesting back streets, to a beautiful light house and other places that I had never really seen online when researching Keelung, so it was a totally unique perspective to have a local explain these areas and all the history behind them. Keelung is a bit ugly when you first arrive so it can be off putting to a lot of tourists but this tour was a great way to uncover the unique history and beauty hidden to most travellers. The tour was also very professional in comparison to some walking tours i've been on, we had headsets to allow us to hear the guide while we walked and the organisers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I really loved the lighthouse area and talking about the time when American soldiers lived in Keelung. It was a great experience and I barely seen any other tourists so it was really amazing for that!ideptt

We went on the Keelung Ghost Festival walking tour and simply put, Benny was the best tour guide ever! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Keelung and its history.
