Meet Tahku, the life size breaching whale sculpture and water fountain display. Great for pics. Your friends back home will think is a real breaching whale!

Stop At: Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, 8150 Mendenhall Loop Rd Tongass National Forest, Juneau, AK 99801
Watch for Bears, visit the Visitors Center and watch the film, hear the Rangers commentaries, hike to nugget falls, see the salmon in the creeks when spawning season, get photos of the Majestic Blue Ice

Stop At: Homestead Park, 2570-2798 3rd Street, Juneau, AK 99801
Take the steps down to the viewing platform by the water to see awesome views of snowcapped mountains and downtown Juneau across the Gastineau channel

Mendenhall glacier, with the lake and waterfall was beautiful, we even got to see a rainbow over the glacier.

I couldn't imagine just flying away without learning something about Juneau! Mariann was so helpful to plan the logistics for a charter tour for our group of 7. Kenny was our knowledgeable guide with plenty of slapstick jokes...

Kenny was our knowledgeable guide with plenty of slapstick jokes :) I enjoyed getting a flavor of the city, and then it was on to Mendenhall Glacier, where Kenny stayed with the shuttle, and our luggage, while we walked the trail to Nugget Falls and saw the movie at the visitor's center. I'm very glad we spent our morning with M&M Tours!Seeing Mendenhall Glacier was nice. The driver talked about himself and tried to sell us his photographs and cds. A little info of the area. Could have been more about Juneau and less about him. Weather was beautiful which the tour cannot take credit for!!
