Very nice driver very polite!
Very professional the tour was excellent!! Highly recommended !
We enjoy every minute
The tour was great , had lots to see from cheese factory to the Ferrari factory, ! Great 6 course lunch but could have been a little shorter , Morecio was our guide very knowledgeable, Highly recommend this tour!
This was a great tour perfectly divided into food, cars and beauty and the tour guide was great. The 6-course meal was fabulous. This tour is well worth the price! My nephew was most thrilled because he got to drive a Ferrari at 18 years old.
It was well organized, our tour guide Andrea was funny and interesting to listen to! Thank you for this wonderful tour!
Excellent small group tour with great guide Maurizio and Claudio our driver.
We visited a Parmagiana cheese factory with tasting at the end , a balsamic and prosciutto maker also with tastings.
We then drove to the Ferrari Museum with the option of taking one for a drive. It was approx. 120 euros for 10 minutes Get in quick as soon as the bus stops because after 1.30pm you are driven about 10 minutes away to test drive the Ferrari. This will mean you are rushing to get back to see the museum.
Lunch was delicious and included desert and a coffee.
Highly recommended trip 10/10.
Great excursion while we were in Bologna! Delicious food and dinner. Really informative. Shout out to fabulous Andrea and Claudio!
We were having a great time in Bologna by joining this tour especially the lunch was awesone and absolutely fantasic. We enjoyed it very much. This tour guide was friendly, professional, informative and helpful. You will get what you have paid for. Highly recommend.
the great tour. delicious cheese and balsamic vinegar, prosciutto. The lunch was amazing. We would recommend this tour to everyone.
Despite the early hour it wasn’t a long drive out and we got a lot done. Our guide, Andrea was great! We started with Parmesan cheese tour then the Prosciutto tour then on to the Balsamic vinegar. They all served wine with the food tastings. We then went to the Ferrari museum and option to drive one or to just have photos. Lunch was last at 2:30pm and it was a 6 course meal. Bonus for us was it was a Friday and one can watch the ladies make fresh pasta on the 2nd floor of the restaurant. Excellent! What a great day it was.
This is probably one of the best tours I have ever been on. Max was a great guide. I learnt a lot about the variuos products that support this region. Got to fulfill a dream and drove a Ferrari amazing experience.
Fantastic Tour and fantastic guide. Andrea's enthusiasm was contagious. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Best Parmegiano I have ever tasted and so awesome to see it being made. My daughter is a car lover and especially a Ferrari lover and she was so thrilled with our trip to Maranello to see some of her favorites. Lots of food and drinks, it is definitely worth the money.
Probably the best tour we have ever been on. Max, our guide, was so knowledgeable and just delightful. It was much more than I expected and WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you Viator and Amazing Italy! Job well done!!!
Wow...just Fabulous! Andrea was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and his enthusiasm is infectious. This trip is perfect for anyone that wants to experience the amazing food of the region as well as the iconic Maranello, home of Ferrari. My husband also e to drove a 458 which is he still talking about over a week later! This is one of the best experiences we've had, and it is amazing value for money. Thank you so much for an fantastico day!
Fascinating day out, learning about the regional food production with tastings for parmigiano, prosciutto and balsamic vinegar. Then on to the Ferrari Museum and a chance to take one for a ride. The day ended with a delicious six course heads up: theres a flight of 3 different pastas! So leave room for the meat course and dessert-
Our guide Max was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, the coach very comfortable.
Highly recommended!amazing day from the moment of pick up until the drop off in the late afternoon.Value for money, friendly and helpful tour guide and driver, delicious food tastings of Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto and Balsamico.
Ferrari Museum with optional test drive!Yummy homemade pasta for lunch.
A great tour led by Andrea who could not have done any more to make it successful! In fact, he went above and beyond providing many tips which resulted in an even better trip to Bologna for us. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the destinations and Italy beyond.
The highlight for me was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity to drive a Ferrari 458 Spider on public roads - still buzzing!
We will use Viator again.

A trip that gave a new dimension to the joy of Italy's splendid food
Fabulous guide Thanks Max , great agenda, scrumtious snacks and lunch. Would do it again if I had the chance. The best.
Great tour! Great guide. Originally booked the Ferrari, Lamborghini Ducati tour, but we were told it was sold out. We were offered this tour instead. My car loving son was a little disappointed but all of his disappointment vanished after his 40 minute drive in a Ferrari. It was country roads most of the way. I believe he drove up to 140mph at one point. Visiting the farms where Parmigiana, prosciutto, and balsamic vinegar are made was a highlight for me. It really makes you appreciate where your food comes from. I bought some cheese and balsamic vinegar to bring home. Prosciutto is not allowed through US customs so I could not buy that, but it was all delicious. The homemade pasta at our lunch stop was fantastic as well. I loved every aspect of this tour. Great driver, Isabella was our guide, and perfect day.
What a fabulous tour filled with so much information and interesting experiences. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. It was a perfecto day!
This was a day to remember and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was amazing and so informative with a great sense of humour. All the factory visits were interesting and very enjoyable. The Ferrari drive was incredible and something I will remember for long time!
Very good tour. Impressed with the organization and the tour guide Andreas. Very informative and good fun tour. Be aware that driving a Ferrari in a small village is not the same as driving it on a circuit/racetrack.
This was a great tour. Our tour guy was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We loved every aspect of the tour: my husband's favor part was the Parmesan cheese and mine was the balsamic vinegar. Of course, the Ferrari test drive was amazing. We love all the food tasting and the gourmet lunch was delicious. We brought back with us some Parmesan cheese, bottles of balsamic vinegar and a piece of prosciutto. Unfortunately, when back in the US they threw away our prosciutto at the airport it's not allowed in the US. So if you buy some, eat it before back in the US. The only thing that I would change about the tour was the amount of time spent at the Ferrari museum - more time was needed. If you do the Ferrari test drive, it doesn't leave you that much time for the museum. Overall, we highly recommend this tour.
One of the best tours I've been on in years
It is the first time that I spent some time in Bologna - four nights, as a solo traveler.
This tour was the highlight of my visit to the Bologna region.
I was picked up from very close to my hotel, in a spotlessly clean and new bus with a friendly driver - on time.
The vivacious, friendly and most knowledgeable guide, Tamara, who spoke excellent English - has an outstanding technical knowledge of the manufacturing processes of cheese, ham and balsamic vinegar!
The Ferrari Museum is a great tribute to a really outstanding man.
Lunch consisted of a large number of delightful local dishes, served efficiently with regional wines and capped by a unique local 40 Walnut liquor.
I have no hesitation in recommending this tour as a unique tour and excellent value for money.
This tour was excellent. We spent 10 hours of fun. It was the best tour ever!!! Th Italian food was great. Being able to see how they do the Parmesan cheese and prosciutto was great. Finally, it was the best to be able to drive a Ferrari. That tour is worth every penny. We drank wine, we ate, the company was great. We had an excellent guide Andrea. He was kind, funny and very knowledgeable. They came on time. The van was clean, the driver was very nice too. There is Wi-fi on board. It was excellent. My 2 girls and my wife said it was the best day. Highly highly highly recommended!!
If you're short on time and need to explore the Emilia-Romagna region, this is the perfect All-In-One day tour for you! Led by a knowledgeable local guide, the tour capsulized the essence of the regional food scene plus it included an added bonus.a stop at the magnificent Ferrari Museum. The food tasting tour included a local parmesan cheese factory, a multi-generation family-owned balsamic vinegar business, and a prosciutto factory owned and operated by a brother-sister team. It was fascinating to learn of their history and the evolution of their family-based businesses. We topped the day off with an incredible lunch at a family-owned restaurant nestled in the idyllic hills of Emilia-Romagna. I had the best homemade tortellini and Bolognese pasta. Needless to say, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.
This was a wonderful tour. We myself, husband, and husband's sister were picked up by an air conditioned van. Max Martelli was our tour guide. Since our hotel was located on a small alleyway street, Max sent me an e-mail, and notified my hotel that they would pick us up at a Gelato Shop just up the street. Max was a very good guide, and gave us much history of the area. First, we saw the process of making parmesan cheese, and had a tasting. Second, we saw the process of making the prosciutto ham, again, with a tasting. Third, we learned about making balsamic vinegar, with a tasting. It was all fascinating and delicious. Then, we went on to Maranello to the Ferrari Museo. Some in our group also test drove a car. There were many photo opportunities, and Max was very knowledgeable. Finally, we went to a lovely restaurant for a delicious lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour. We had a fabulous time. Thank you so much.
Fantastic tour of food producing areas of Bologna.
