I learned the existence of that museum just because it was near my hotel and it ended up as one of the best visits of my stay. That museum was made by rock enthusiasts for rock enthusiasts. The possibility of taking guided tours in French was a real plus, especially as our guide conveyed her good humor and passion to us throughout the visit. The collections includes some priceless pieces, especially if you are a Thin Lizzy fan (and if not, listen to Thin Lizzy, you will become one !). And thanks for sharing the playlist of the museum at the end of the visit : these 10 hours of music accompanied my (long) return home.

Alan was an extremely personable and knowledgeable tour guide! So much history in the rooms of each building. Very much appreciated the wee films. And the room dedicated to Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy was worth the price of admission alone. And now I know how to pronounce correctly (finally!) Lynott!

Definitely a great exhibition for music enthusiasts. Might have to add that we probably had the funniest Tour Guide to exist (Thank you Alan). Overall it was an exceptional experience.

This place is a must see if you're in Dublin. They even give you a tour of the history of rock music in Ireland. They have a gift shop as well. I highly recommend visiting this place.

We had Alan as a guide and he was amazing. I loved the tour and learned a lot about Irish music. It was really inspiring to listen to him talk and his knowledge touched me to the core and brought me to tears. 10/10 would recommend, if you're ever in Dublin - Go to the Irish Rock N Roll museum and ask for Alan. ❤️❤️

Scott was our guide and he was super funny and engaging. Lots of great information. It was pretty neat being in the Temple Lane Studios where some of the world’s best artists recorded. It was also a real treat seeing the audio board that is the twin to the board from Sound City featured in the Dave Grohl documentary. Overall, a 10 and would strongly recommend you see the place U2 got their start and so many other amazing artists from Dublin!

Our guide, Emily, was engaging, witty and made all feel welcome. We learned about the studio and memorabilia, heard insider stories and had a grand time, learning, listening and playing with the interactive elements of the tour.

As a rock 'n' roll lover I really enjoyed this experience. My tour guide, Alan, was amazing, he's incredibly well-prepared and passionate about music. I also loved that they made a playlist (available on Spotify) of Irish rock songs. If you're in Dublin, you have to check this museum out!

I would definitely recommend this guided tour to any rock aficionado or anyone who would like to discover more about Irish rock history. The different rooms are filled with so many stories and memories that our guide Glenn enthusiastically told us about. He seemed really passionate about music and shared with us details and anecdotes from Irish or foreign bands, he surely knew his subject! The visit playlist on Spotify is such a nice touch that will definitely help us remember this tour.

I visited with a friend in March 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It's also a working recording studio so it was fascinating to hear the history of the numerous bands that have recorded there over the years. Particularly enjoyed hearing about U2 and ending with a floor dedicated to Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy. Would highly recommend for anyone interested in Irish Rock music.
