Our daily Intro to Outdoor Rock Climbing Class is perfect for all skill levels, even beginners! Meet your guide in North Table Mountain in Golden, CO, where we'll provide all the gear you need to conquer the mountain.
After a scenic hike through the Colorado wilderness, your guide will cover the basics of outdoor rock climbing and give you the opportunity to put your skills to the test by ascending a massive rock face with your hands and feet, attached to a rope. Your guide will be on hand to answer questions and ensure your safety.
Whether you're a seasoned climber or a first-timer, this class offers a unique chance to experience real outdoor rock climbing in Colorado. All necessary equipment is included, so join us for a day of fun, adventure, and learning how to rock climb!

The best part was getting up the rock! I hear shorts are ok to wear, but also that they give you wedgies with the gear.

This definitely exceeded expectations and was one of the best outdoor activities I've done. Highly recommend!Dan and Bill were great at explaining the relevant topics in our lesson and more importantly, adapting what we covered based on the class's progress during the day. They slowed down and reviewed topics when people didn't quite get them the first time to ensure we were actually grasping everything

This was our first time trying outdoor climbing (we have been top roping & lead climbing in gyms) and we learned a lot from Dan! Since we were already familiar with belaying and climbing, Dan made sure we knew the safety checks and proper techniques before letting us get started. He was very knowledgeable and picked out challenging routes and also found the time to take nice photos of us climbing! The climb was in a great location and was about a ~2 mile flat and paved walk to Golden. We'll definitely be back for more lessons next time we visit!
