The divers were very careful and nice, good food, nice diving/snorkeling spot. It was really worth it.

It’s a good trip for anyone looking for a first time diving experience. The divers are exceptionally good. They will hand hold you through the diving and you would have a wonderful experience. The guide Ahmed and the crew were very good and made us comfortable. The food was excellent too.

Nice diving experience, beautiful views, but one of the crew member made me wear the wetsuit backwards (zip from the front instead of the back) so he could grab my breast 3 times while "trying to help me". I felt unsafe the rest of the day, stock on the same boat as him till we came back to land. Careful if you are a lady traveling alone.

I didn’t do this, but those that did said it was fun. But the sea was very cold and they would do it again. And it was good value for the price paid.

Although internet said 08:00, the pick up time was communicated in advance to be 08:15. The driver was punctual. We reached the boat around 08:45, and were told to fill some forms. This is where the trip started to go south. Here, it is important to differentiate between the tour operator through whom I booked the tour and the tour itself. The tour/dive itself was nice, but the tour operator made the overall experience really bad. It said on the forms that pregnant women and/or women trying to get pregnant should not dive. We fall in the latter category. Neither was this communicated to us by the operator nor does the website has this description. Both the tour operator (Sea Memories) and Viator are at fault here. This was our first scuba diving trip experience, hence, we didn't know this either. This means we paid for everything, made the effort, took out the time, and now my wife couldn't go in. Prior to the trip, I also asked the tour operator if towels would be provided on boat, and he said yes (I have proof!). But in reality, they were not. I had to stand in cold winds after the dive, which was super uncomfortable! I contacted the operator several times about these two things. He read all my messages, but never replied. This is his number: +20 103 354 9004, and he is part of 'Sea Memories' tour operators. In case it comes up somewhere, you should definitely avoid him! I cannot comment about the rest of the tour operating agency. Viator says this trip has a 'Badge of Excellence'. Our experience in no way was excellent. Viator should thoroughly check who they are doing business with and also correct information on this dive's page. The dive itself was nice. My dive instructor was Mohamed Rafat, who was not only a good and understanding diver, but also a great human. He was very friendly towards my son. I saw several fish in the dive, and also a ship wreck. The lunch was also very nice. Overall, I was quite upset with the turn of events.

We had a great day ,swam with the dolphins and saw the coral reef .We had lunch and soft drinks on board .Snorkelling with flippers .They also catered for slightly less strong swimmers who went with life jackets .Helpful crew who struck the right balance between safety and entertainment .

Perfect trip. Great crew, really tasty for food and amazing vibe. Great way to spend a day. I would love to do it again one day.

The staff were lovely, we managed to swim with dolphins! and the corals were beautiful, would to family or friends who come to egypt ♡

I must express my profound disappointment regarding the booked transfer and diving excursion through your company. we confirmed the transfer, with instructions to wait at the reception the day before. However, the driver never appeared at the hotel, as confirmed by the reception. Despite multiple phone calls and a total wait time of 60 minutes, we were informed that a refund was not possible. Unless a satisfactory resolution is reached, we feel compelled to share our unpleasant experience in online reviews. We were looking forward to a seamless diving excursion with my son. Unfortunately, this experience has cast a disheartening shadow on our expectations. We even planned to obtain the Open Water certification next year, and this unfortunate situation significantly influences our decision. Trip was ok, instructors were ok communication was minimal. You only get about 6-8 minutes per dive, I thought something had gone wrong I was returned so quickly but everyone had the same experience. It’s a long day for 2 very short dives.

I literally have a big headache from this daily diving trip today. Seriously bad experience 😣 Can't describe everything that was wrong with them (would take to much time), but here are the main points. Their organiser was terrible on every poin. Lied to me, made a big mistake based of their own bad assumption and tried to scam me for more money. Might sue them for this. I have been to other diving ships on trips in Hurgada before and every one of them is far better. So what happened? I am an advanced PADI diver and I told them the day before the trip that I have been diving for years. They have put me on a intro diving trip, lying that I booked that option. They realized that on the ship after we already sailed away. There was another advanced guy in the group, which I was naturaly paired-up who they also didn't know about. He was also on their intro dive list. He booked through his hotel where he noted that he was AOWD. The guys from the boat checked that contacting their organisation and confirmed, so he was allowed to do the "professional" dives. I was denied, even when I proved that with the WhatsApp the messages what I noted. Their organiser over the phone made a very wrong assumption and now I had to pay for for it. Long story short, I didn't get to do neither one of the two fully paid "professional dives" - shallow dives in common tourist snorkeling locations. They said they didn't prepare enough tanks for me to have regular dives, so I didn't have any! The other guy (who is a great guy and even offered to give me his tank for the second dive) got two normal lasting dives. Also the two other divers who they had on their list for the "professional dives" had two regular dives. But no tank for me, no matter how angry and frustrated I got and I very much did. The guy who collected the money even straight up lied to, promising that I will have a second full dive. He also tried to scam me for more money, as the organiser person over the messages. And I already paid more than the rest of the people I was with (I checked), because I contacted them directly over the phone, when their site didn't work. Simultaneously on two fronts they were repeatedly trying to get more money from me for something that I have already more than fully paid for and didn't even get! I was beyond outraged, because it was my last day here, so I don't have another chance to dive another day. And I told them that repeatedly, that is not even about the money. They just massively stood me up for the experience I was looking forward to and have bought a bunch of new equipment for. I had to settle for 10-15 minute (intro dives) and I was extremely disappointed. Had no other options at that point. They stopped asking me for more money only when I demanded the full refund and that I am going to the police as soon as we get back on land. I didn't get a refund of course. The guys on the boat are ok, but who doesn't brig a few reserve tank on a planed diving shipp full of people. Their math was 4 persons per thank... I literally had to go around and ask other diving ships nearby to lend be a tank. Had no luck 😔

Just came back from the day trip. I was quite sceptical all of it, because things you order online don't end up being what it's advertised, but this was a real deal. The communication before the trip, the pickup, the boat and underwater experience, just great! As a first timer, I felt super safe and in good hands. Special shout out goes to Peter who was very helpful, ready to answer any questions, and generally a really chill guy to have a chat to!

My son and I had a lovely day scuba diving in the red sea, the transfer from our hotel in an air conditioned mini van arrived on time and was there to take us back to the hotel. The boat that we boarded wasn't as new as some of the other boats we saw in the harbour and one of the toilets on board was working, the upper deck has some shade but was missing a central section, I didn't think this would be an issue but the sun did get over bearing throughout the day, so we took every opportunity to stay in the water. The scuba diving spots they took us too were beautiful, with plenty of colour and wildlife, the scuba dives were amazing, though seemed a little unorganised, we were separated in smalls group but when the time came for dive it was a little chaotic, but that might have been everyone excitement to get in the water. All equipment looked well maintained I would suggest that if you are able to bring your own snorkel mask as there will be plenty of opportunity between dives to do a bit of snorkeling, unfortunately they didn't have enough snorkeling sets for everyone at all times. The underwater photography they took was great, though as I had I a issue with my credit card and didn't have enough money on me at the time, I paid a deposit, they informed me that they come over to hotel in the evening but never turned but did text me to apologize and said they would come another night. We stil on holiday so hopefully they will turn up. We enjoyed the day, and would recommend it to anyone thinking of trying.

This trip was amazing from the very start of the boat journey. The staff where all extremely helpful and friendly. I had said I was a non swimmer but I was reassured that I could still take part in the diving experience, Islam, the diving instructor talked me through everything and stayed with me, holding my hand from start to finish of the dive, reassuring me all the time. I was truly amazed at what you could see, it’s like a whole new world under the sea. The food was okay, there was more than enough for everyone and cold drinks were also available, all included in the price of the experience. The bus pick up and drop off wasn’t great, the drivers were not friendly, infact the one dropping us off at our hotel was very rude and even though myself and husband both have mobility issues both drivers refused to come up to the hotel main door to collect us! Putting that aside though, the trip was well worth every penny, we even got our pictures and videos taken, which you could purchase at a reasonable price at the end. Thank you to the boat staff and our tour guide, who was very attentive throughout the day and a personal thank you to Islam for all his patience today.

They did not even pick me up from at my hotel. Did not send a confirmation after booking either. On top of that they haven’t issued a refund yet. Will report them here in Hurghada. Stay away from this company!

The staff is very friendly, competent and professional. Had a great time earning my licence here. Received very much attention while diving.
