The flight out to the Great Barrier Reef was an unforgettable adventure! Niels was so informative about the whole process which put us totality at ease. I would highly recommend Niels as he gave us an experience of a lifetime!

I loved this tour! It was one of the best things we did during our Australia vacation. The view of the reef is stunning, and the owner was so accommodating! I saw a sea turtle and a stingray from the sky, which was so cool! And we touched down on a small sandbank, allowing us to get a bit closer to the reef. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing experience! Warmly welcomed by Chris the owner who could not have gone more out of his way to make our day enjoyable and memorable. The pilot then took us over the reef where we saw incredible views of the reefs and green island with great commentary about the locations as well. The helicopter is only small (3 passengers), it was just myself and a friend on our trip which made it very private and personal. Highly recommend!! At the end, Chris even gave us a free ride to our next destination which goes to show how passionate he is about customer service.

Highly recommended! The experience was fantastic: awesome view of the reef and surrounding. The pilot was very kind and professional, he also give us lot of information during the flight. We did this experience with our son (1 years old), they give us the equipment for him and he was seat on our legs.

All I can say was this was the best experience we’ve had, Thanks to Chris. Just a day before I called him to book the helicopter ride, it was a surprise for my girlfriend. Chris was very flexible with the time, We both had an amazzzzing experience a big big thanks to you Chris, the experience you get with Zoom helicopters is just next level, we also landed on the a Cay, it was so amazing to be only people on the island. I’ve had another surprise lined up after our helicopter ride, unfortunately all Uber drivers were cancelling our rides, Chris came to our rescue, he dropped us off at the location in his beautiful Tesla, I can’t thank him enough for this. I wish to personally thank you Chris for the beautiful time we had on the day, we both enjoyed the ride and the friendly nature of yours very much.

We had an amazing informative experience definitely something we would do again only with zoom as it is more of a private ride. The service was impeccable we even got a lift back into Cairns after our flight. Definitely a 5* experience.

Chris and his team was super patient with us considering the wet weather in Cairns and made sure we both got the best possible experience! I could honestly say anyone who wants to do a scenic flight over the reefs or any of their tours… Zoom Helicopters will give you a personalised experience where you can take in all the views of the islands, and spot some sealife also! Chris has great knowledge of the islands and his tours are worth every penny and would fly with them again!

Can only be a 5 star experience when visiting a private Cay, with perfect flying conditions, with the best pilot, John. He was a delight from the moment we met him, knowledgeable with interesting facts as well as being an extremely competent pilot. Experience all topped off with bubbles on the private sandbar. Still in awe of the experience days after. Thank you very much John will call next time in Cairns!

Flew with Chris & two sons aged 14 & 12. Flight was smooth and Chris was the consummate host! Helicopter seats 4 in total - safety briefing was easy to understand. The flight path took us over Green island and the Inner reef and was spectacular (even in the rainy season). Highly recommend purchasing the video of the flight as well.
