I thought this was going to be a little rinky-dink cruise. How wrong I was. It was phenomenal. Honestly, it is hard to care about anything more when you are sitting on the top deck, looking out into the impossibly blue water with a cloudy glass of ouzo in your hand. Lunch was great, the cultural show was great, the island stops were GREAT! Book with confidence.
First time doing a day cruise and this experience didn’t disappoint. Hydra was definitely my favorite island to visit. Glad we started there first. We had the VIP experience and it seemed to be worth it with the included amenities and having the privilege to get on and off first.
We liked this trip. We read the reviews ahead of time and saw the complaints about time spent on each island so we knew the stops were brief and that was not a problem for us. The trip is already 11 hours long so making the island stops longer just lengthens the day and this could be an option, starting at 7:00 instead of 8:00. Our goal was simple, we wanted to get a sense of each island with the idea of returning in the future for a 2-3 day stay, and we accomplished that goal. On board the sun was nice most of the day, take sunscreen if you insist on sitting on deck! The ocean breeze was wonderful morning and afternoon but got cold on our way back to Athens so take along a sweater too. I read comments good and bad about lunch, but we found it good, plentiful, with varied choices. I will agree with the other 27 reviews that complained that you had to pay for water to drink. Pay for beer, of course, pay for soft drinks, stingy but okay. Pay for water, totally unacceptable. And they had warnings on their menus that Greek law prohibits bringing food or drink aboard ship. The crew was very nice, particularly the Filipino guy in the galley. There was some mention of traditional folklore dances on board but the entertainment space was tiny and the Audience space cramped so we just stayed away from it and enjoyed the cruise back. In summary, we enjoyed the cruise, we accomplished what we set out to do, we liked each island and we liked the food. The time announced for each island is a bit deceptive because it also takes time to get off and then to get back on. We were told 40 minutes on Poros but in fact we had just 30. We don’t need to do this trip again, but we would recommend it to others with the similar goal of visiting 3 islands in one day.
excellent for 1 day trip, add extra money and upgrade to VIP and you will not regret it. VIP lounge, service on board was delight.
This day cruise to three different Greek Islands was amazing. Everyone on the staff is extremely friendly. I highly suggest upgrading to the VIP package.
This was a great trip, showing the highlights of each of the three islands. I highly recommend purchasing the tours of the islands that they offer onboard the cruise.
My family and I did this tour last week and we loved it. Upgrading to VIP was well worth the money. We had our own huge booth, with enough space for two people to lay down. The on boarding and exiting at each port was made easy by the staff. We were given priority with this process, which was wonderful. Otherwise, we would have had to wait in long line.
This cruise was more than expected. The staff were super friendly, the food was amazing and the islands beautiful. Booked one of the excursions offered on board and was not disappointed.
Hydra, Poros and Egina Day Cruise from Athens with Optional VIP Upgrade was an excellent choice and we enjoyed every minute.
It was a day full of beauty, fun and great cruising, we were picked up exactly on time, the boat was big and very pretty, great staff ready to serv you and the lunch buffet was just awesome! All the 3 islands were so beautiful and the people were nice and friendly. When I come back I will do this trip again. As the end of the tour approached we had live entertainment where traditional Greek dances in the traditional attires were performed and we were all welcome to join.
This is a wonderful way to see some of the islands. Be sure to sign up for the tours, they are great!
If you want to see the islands but you are short on time, I highly recommend this tour. It is a long day, so bring what you need. I would recommend a sweater, because it was cooler in the morning but a bag to take the sweater off because once it hit around 11am it was really hot. We paid extra for the VIP upgrade and it was 100 worth it! Spend the money, you wont' regret it. The service is fantastic and you don't have to wait in any lines. There are alot of people on the boat and it was so nice to not have to wait for lunch, drinks or to get on and off the boat. The islands are also stunning, Hydra being our favourite.
When you get to Egina, I would recommend taking a taxi to the temple instead of utilizing the tours on the boat. You are on a large bus with tons of other tourists. We took a cab on our own and made it to the temple before everyone else and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves.
This cruise was amazing. We payed extra for the VIP upgrade and it was worth every penny. All the crew went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant time, especially Kostas. You can't go wrong with this tour.
The one day cruise to 3 islands is a wonderful experience. We went on board Anna Nour ship, great ship, excellent service on board at the VIP Lounge with Mr Costas who attended us excellent. Excursions were great. We did the Hydra walking excursion which was beautiful and interesting, we have been in Hydra but never had the chance to do it, and we did and no regrets. Poros island is very small and quite. Ego a cultural excursion was amezing, we will never get tired of doing it, the temple is beautiful and Saint Nectarious is unbelievable beautiful...
Great trip. I recommend getting the transport included. Our hotel wasn’t listed so I thought we couldn’t do it, but when I spoke to them to confirm the listing they arranged it for me. I just had to pay the difference when I got there. Otherwise, service was nice, the boat was nice and clean, and they alloted a good amount of time for each island.
I recommend this tour. it's best for people who has limited time in Anthem. you will visit three islands in one day.
Very beautiful experience! Each of the towns are different in their own way. Do use the upgrade VIP, they pack the boat standing room. VIP has its privileges!!
As as the family walked into the ship, everything was amazing, good experience and good food, very good customer service!!!
Fantastic day....Worth every minute and every penny. Lovely islands and we opted for the beach instead of a bust tour on Egina.
Great tour if you have limited time - I did this one from Athens and it was perfect. It is a long day but well worth it visiting all the smaller and less commercialised islands.
VIP on the ship is much more relaxing and excellent attentive services. Each of the 3 islands gives you variations of Greek island life. Just watch out for the donkey poo. After each island walking tours with very knowledgeable guides, have a coffee or gelato or ouzo in a street cafe and listen to how friendly the locals are to all the tourists. What a fascinating day cruise.
Highly recommend taking this full day cruise out of Athens / Piraeus port to 3 islands. The scenery was magnificent. The food was very good, as was also the entertainment.
Everything was wonderful and the islands are beautiful. Everyone was very helpful and lunch was delicious. We would definitely do it again.
It was amazing to see all 3 islands. Hydra was my favourite. The cruise to each island was smooth. Only issue there was a big group of students from Spain were a little rowdy.
An enjoyable day spent in the Greek islands.
A long day on the water of the beautiful Greek isles closest to Athens. The ferry boat was large with a capacity of about 250 people. You could purchase snacks and beverages onboard. First stop was Hydra where the only mode of transportation is burros that are lined up along the waterfront waiting for your photo ops. Of course the tour doesn't include the walking tour offered here or the seperate bus tour on Egina but when in Greece, you might as well splurge for the extra 40 or so Euros. The buffet style lunch onboard was quite sufficient and filling. The guides were quite knowledgeable as well.
Totally worth the VIP experience where you are away from the crowds. The service was amazing and so was the food. The islands were absolutely gorgeous and would do it again.
What a remarkable experience that day was! The cruise itself was fun, the staff were cheerful and helpful and the buffet was great!
The islands were absolutely beautiful and we were glad we agreed to have the tour guides from the ship show us around and provide further insight into the various sights on the islands.
Great tour! It was fun seeing three islands in one day. Only thing I would recommend is more time on Aegina and Hydra
Absolutely loved this tour. The boat ride was a little long but it was well worth it.
