We did a private tour through Tamaris. Toni was excellent to work with-- his communication was clear and thorough. My husband and I wanted a private tour--low key and off the beaten path. Our skipper Romano provided that! Romano was wonderful-- the day was ours, and he made a number of suggestions to choose from. One of our favorite activities in Croatia! Romano was not only an excellent skipper, but fantastic company. Would absolutely recommend Tamaris!

Best day! We were on a hen party and wanted to go a boat trip to see a bit of croatia! Our captain Marko did not disappointed, such a friendly, insightful tour guide, we even saw dolphins in the morning heading to hvar! sadly while we were there a storm was passing over so certain areas were too dangerous to visit but Marko changed the route and took us somewhere different to stop for lunch which was gorgeous! Views of the ocean and tasty food! We had linked our music to the Bluetooth on the boat and were singing away. Snorkel equipment was available and the sea was so clear. I would definitely recommend this boat trip as well as Marko for a captain! He couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our day! Thank you!

I found Tamaris Charter on the net when we wanted to do a private charter from Split. We spoke to Tony who recommended the Secrets of Brac and Solta tour and also informed us that at that moment the Blue caves was crowded and there was a long waiting line due to high season in the month of July. Which was true as we did see photos of the crowds waiting to enter the Blue caves. The four of us i.e. my wife and two sons enjoyed the experience away for the crowds and had a private time to ourselves at the small beach on the Brac island, visited the secret tunnel which was used to hide U boats, saw the ship wreck that I would say was nothing much, had lunch at Solta, our boat docked right at the restaurant and had a quite lunch. Being vegetarians the option was limited but we were able to fill our stomachs. We were able to completed the tour and returned to Split in time before the other boats returning from Blue Caves tour returned. In all we enjoyed our private tour and was happy that we took Tony's recommendation to do "Secrets of Brac and Solta" tour than go on a private tour to the Blue Caves.

On advice of a close friend, we looked up Tamaris Charter and Toni there set us up perfectly-- we had a great all-day tour to Hvar, a secluded sandy beach on Brac, old submarine pen, then a trip to Solta. Our pilot Leo was an outstanding driver and host and I can't think of a better way to have spent our last day in Croatia. The weather was perfect, we got to see some dolphins swimming off to our right at one point, and we ended up at a spot where there was a small shipwreck to explore a bit. That spot even had a guy in a little boat cruising around selling mojitos. Taking a private boat is a great way to explore the islands-- I definitely recommend Tamaris Charter!

Thanks a lot for a great journey! The schipper was really attentive and experienced. We were travelling with a big company of 5 adults, three kids and a baby. The boat was sailed by the schipper so softly that the baby stayed happy the whole time. The boat was clean and comfortable. The places were beautiful, there was enough time to enjoy the sightseeing and the swimming. Especially, it was great to see dolphins. The lunch place was cosy and the lunch was delicious! all in all, it was a beautiful day for us!

We had the most amazing boat excursion through Tamaris Charters. We had tailored a customized excursion to the outer islands with our fabulous skipper Marko! Not only was Marko very knowledgeable and professional, but more importantly friendly, easy going and made our day on the water the highlight of our trip to Croatia! Marko avoided all the tourist traps and even took us to an incredible family run restaurant for lunch away from the crowds on Hvar. We didn't want the day to end. Marko then transported us all the way to Korcula as we were spending the night on the island. We (including our 3 teenage daughters) were taken care of the entire day and always felt safe with Marko at the helm. Thank you again Tamaris for this incredible adventure of a lifetime and arranging our time with our skipper Marko to make our outer islands trip so memorable!

From the immediate response to my inquiry to the thoughtful planning of our trip and the fabulous day we had on the boat with captain Leo, out experience was awesome! A perfect day. We did exactly what I requested and avoided crowds and found beautiful quiet places to swim and relax- we saw enough diversity of locations on three different islands but did not feel rushed anywhere. Overall an incredible experience.

We had a perfect day with Toni and his boat. We started quite early in the morning and we spent all day on the boat visiting surrounding islands (Hvar...). Everything was perfect ... we discovered beautiful landscapes, we had a wonderful lunch in a typical fish restaurant. Toni was a very good guide. Thank you for this expérience !

This is an amazing tour company! Toni and Bruna provided us with an outstanding service when my 5 friends and I booked a private party boat, picking us up from Split on a day trip to Hvar. They were so professional and very friendly. So I decided to go with the company again for a 10 person Hen party later that month. The two skippers (both called Marko) were loads of fun, exactly what we needed for a girly hen party! Drinks were flowing and they were very flexible with the plans when we wanted to change things around. The lunch spot that we were taken to on both occasions were very good! (Certainly have great local knowledge) But what made this company stand out is that they went above and beyond to help us out in an emergency. Toni arranged for a rescue boat to take us to the airport (at the last min!) when we realised the ferry wouldn’t take us in time to catch our flight. Again the skipper was so friendly! Leo was an amazing skipper! He picked us up promptly at the meeting location and within 10 minutes of being in the boat we came across a pack of dolphins in the ocean. A great sight to start the day. We had an excellent time throughout the rest of the day with some free time in Hvar to explore and swim. The lunch we stopped and had was some of the best seafood I've ever had. Incredibly fresh and reasonably priced. All in all a great day and I'm so happy that our group of 7 went with Leo and Tamaris Charter.

We were looking online to rent a small boat and skipper for the day to take us out to the islands of Hvar and Brac. I came across Tamaris Charter and was immediately impressed with the sharp website. I sent an inquiry about renting a boat and skipper and within minutes I got a professional response from Toni (I believe he is one of the owners) with all our options. We decided to book and are really pleased with our decision. The pricing was fair and clear with no gotchas, the skipper Marko Rogulj was fantastic. He was punctual, very knowledgeable of the area, operated the boat very professionally and was very friendly and courteous. He knew exactly where to go and how to meet our needs. We would request him by name if we went back. The boat was clean and in great condition. We felt safe and comfortable. I would without a single doubt recommend Tamaris Charter. This experience completely exceeded our expectations. Our skipper, Marko, was amazing. He was very patient, knowledgable, and very fun. He took us to the very best private areas and made sure the schedule was run around what we wanted to do. If you plan on doing this tour I 100% suggest it and that you request Marko.

My wife, 12 year old son, and I had a great day on the water with Tamaris charters. The entire booking process was one of the most professional I have ever experienced. Toni responded immediately to all my emails and questions no matter what time I sent them. Marko was our skipper and was great. He picked us up in the quicksilver 555 right on time and let us take as much time as we wanted at each place we stopped. Hvar was a great town, the secluded beach on Brac was amazing, the submarine tunnels and crystal clear water were great, lunch on Solta was pretty good, and the shipwreck was interesting. The beach on Brac was definitely our favorite. I wouldn’t change anything about our trip but if I were to do it again I would skip Hvar and go straight to the beach on Brac. Hvar was cool but it took an hour and a half to get there and we saw so many cool cobblestone towns on our trip across Croatia that I would prefer to go straight to that amazing beach. My only criticism would be that the ride was a bit rough. The quicksilver 555 is only about 18 ft long and even though it was a pretty calm day we were still crossing a lot of open sea. Sitting on the front of the boat is repeatedly rough on the tailbone which can get very uncomfortable on an hour and a half ride for a large guy like me, and on the ride back we got soaked, but the view more than made up for it and I guess you shouldn’t get on a boat and expect to not get wet. There is a public bathroom near the park by the dock in Split where we were able to change into some dry clothes for our uber ride to the hotel. Thank you Toni and Marko for a great day on the water.
