The tour was designed amazingly with many visits but not rushing. Our tour guide, Hoa, is fantastic, he is very knowledgeable with good sense of humor and very caring. Would love to recommend this tour and Hoa specifically
It was a very full day tour which took us to many different sites. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable but tended to talk too much. We could have done without the indoor market stop. Lunch was very good. Visiting the tombs in the afternoon was all right but we seemed to spend a lot of time standing around listening to the guide who tended to repeat himself. Last stop was incense making which was fine but by then it had been a long day. Perhaps having a few less stops would shorten the day and make it a bit less tiring.
Our day commenced with a dragon boat ride but sadly it was pouring with rain so we could hardly see anything - first stop was the Pagoda which was a great sight. We then moved on and had a most interesting tour of the Citadel Which is a really large complex -we then stopped for lunch which was very good - after lunch we made stops at several tombs where the ceramic walls were an amazing sight. On the way we stopped off at a village where we saw them making hats and incense sticks and we were able to have a go at rolling the incense, it was good fun. Our guide Neun was most informative and made the whole day really interesting. Would highly recommend this tour.
A lot to see in one day, but not rushed and very informative with a very
nice lunch included.
Great trip - relaxed pace but a full itinerary. The guide had excellent English
The tour was nice, the transportation arrived just on time and the guide was nice and his english was Ok.The part of the tour we did not enjoy that much was the boa trip because the boat was old, noisy and they were trying to sell things during the way.As for the lunch we would prefer local food.
The tour is a good experience to have a glance on the history and dynasty of old kingdom of Vitnam under the rule of Nguyen.
The tour guide, Hao; can speak fluent English to explain and describe the culture, believe and building layouts of the palace and Emperor's tombs.
Tour is recommended
First, again another amazing time but in Hue. We had another great guide, Hoa! He gave us insight into everything we saw. We stayed at the Eldora hotel and had two couples to join us on this tour. We saw so many palaces, the perfume river, pagodas, forbidden city and various tourists attractions. Hoa knew and had great knowledge about them all. We also ate some tasty and thrilling food! I wish that we had had more than a day in Hue! I will say the tour was amazing but I do wish it had had more sights of the actual city of Hue and what the city has to offer as far as the people, more food knowledge, some shopping and other lodgings although you can't beat the Eldora! Just want to check out the competition. Don't miss this tour! It's worth it!
The trip was great with the Citadel the most interesting and fascinating part of the trip. The trip down the Perfume river was nice but would be better in the spring with the flowers. The pagoda was also interesting and our tour guide explained everything along the way with facts and interesting notations. The quick run through the market was not to my liking. Trying to keep up with the group and never allowing to stop made this a wasted time. I know that she was going us the flavor of the market which was not needed, better to just walk around the outskirts and allow a return later for those interested. The temple visit was worth while and beautiful. Lunch was delicious and clean, and a chance to visit with other people in the tour. The guides recommendations for dinner spots was helpful. I would book this tour but pass on the market. Wait outside and browse until the group came back out..
The guide was excellent. Knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He made this tour special. Helped me with kindness as I had difficulty walking because of knee injury. I give him highest recommendation.
Great day very infirmative!
Booked this Booked this for family of 10. The agent was Footsteps Travel Hue on 084543933266.
The tour guide speaks good english, was jovial, knowledgeable and helpful. Arrived 10 mins before pick up time and waited for us at the lobby. He was the best, in terms of English proficiency in our entire 14 days trip.
We didn't get to the Conical Hat Village, as stipulated in itinerary.
Wonderful tour, we could not have seen all these historical places without our guide Dang! He was a lovely peaceful man which a great knowledge of Huê and its history.
Highly recommend this tour to everyone.
