He was also my guide at the Ramesseum, which was one of my favorite temples that I visited because of the tranquil atmosphere. Alaa-Eldine also helpfully arranged an amazing tour of Hassan Fathy’s famous New Gourna community as well as a private car ride to the airport, all at reasonable prices.
