The driver was very nice, but it was unfortunate they made him drive his own vehicle. 3 hour round trip from Monterrey was not expected and was an uncomfortable ride with a standard transmission vehicle. My partner was nauseous the entire ride, but again the driver was very kind and accommodatin...
The driver was very nice, but it was unfortunate they made him drive his own vehicle. 3 hour round trip from Monterrey was not expected and was an uncomfortable ride with a standard transmission vehicle. My partner was nauseous the entire ride, but again the driver was very kind and accommodating. He explained the rules and walked us down to the pool, and said he would be back in 2 hours for us. We only needed 1. There were signs saying to be silent, which obviously wouldn’t be expected, but the locals were very loud, overweight, and obnoxious. The water was full of skin cells and debris and there was only one small vent where hot spring water was flowing from. It was so disgusting it was hard to relax. As soon as you left any relaxation you obtained is lost in the grueling drive back. Would have rather stayed home and swam at the hotel pool. There is nothing that would make you know this was a hot spring fed pool if it wasn’t for the smell. I am still trying to wrap my head around the price of this experience.
