Enjoy Hot Air Balloon,Valley of the kings,Hatshepsut temple in Luxor

What an amazing trip!! All was organized and made the day super special - picked up right on time 05:15 from Hilton and directly to small boat taking group across the river - given a nice warm cup of coffee or tea for the short ride. Onc on the shore of the west bank, moved into minivans to travel short ride to the balloons - Mustafa, our guide, kept all in order, never had to worry about a thing - Balloon ride with mixed group of people was easy and absolutely amazing - sunrise and the sights below, really incredible - we were up for about 45 min and landing in the middle of a sugar cane field where the transport comes to pick everyone up!
I was then escorted on the the next part of the trip - the private tour of the VOK, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon - with my great guide Hatem and our driver Eslam (Hamilton) -have great information on all the sights, helped keep the touts away and made the morning fully enjoyable - and even got back to the Hilton for the last 15 minute of the buffet brekkie at 10:45!

My partner and I had such a great experience on our hot air balloon ride! Our pilot was very experienced and knowledgeable offering lots of information while we in the balloon. Refereshments were provided in the boat which was great as it was so early in the morning. We could not recommend this enough, such an amazing experience!

When we booked, the agency / voucher was in the name of Cupid Egypt travel. The balloon operator was Sindbad balloons. After the initial booking confirmation we were contacted via WhatsApp to confirm the pickup from our hotel (at 4am to catch the sunrise later). Rendezvous for the group was at the small ferryboat that took us across to the west bank, under the care of Amr, where we boarded a minibus for a 10-15 minute ride. Tea/Coffee was taken on the boat.

All the balloons take-off from the same place. On our day there were around 20 balloons. Preparation is well organised. The short waiting time was a good opportunity for photos, and the safety briefing from our pilot Mano, who is also a commercial airline pilot. The pilot controls our course by varying altitude to catch slight variations in wind directions, and turns the balloon on its axis so that everyone gets an all-round view.

Mano didn't follow the pack, but deliberately kept us low at first so that we would fly over Luxor Temple. After around 45 minutes he guided us to a very precise and soft landing. The minibus was waiting for us and we were dropped back at our hotel around 7-30am. Some passengers brought a light breakfast with them, but we preferred to take the hotel breakfast when we got back and then go back to bed for a couple of hours.

Operators charge different prices for these excursions. This was not the cheapest, but there were only 16 of us in the balloon. Other balloons had baskets more than twice as big. We had a wonderful experience and don't hesitate to recommend Sindbad, Amr, and Mano.

I was hesitant to book this tour because it was cheaper than some of the others and I noticed there was not a lot of reviews. However let me reassure this was 5 stars all the way! I was picked up directly from my hotel which was a ways out from town. We proceeded to go to a meeting point and take another ride to the departure point. The guides were wonderful and our pilot for the balloon was amazing! We caught the most amazing sunrise and the landing was super smooth. The staff were wonderful is keeping in touch before the ride to make sure all pick up information was correct and I must say this was a wonderful experience.
