Great fun doing some arts and crafts making the lanterns. Lovely to do an activity in the shade. Kids enjoyed it. 2 hours is perfect amount of time.

The lantern making class is a very fun and cool cultural activity that you just have to do when you are in Vietnam. It's a creative way to learn about the culture of Vietnam and you get to make something with your own hands to bring home as a souvenir.

I went in on my own and still enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. You really get to make a great lantern. You get to choose your shape and fabrics. It's a great experience. I can't speak highly enough. Would definitely do it again. A true Vietnam experience.

A must do in your trip to Hoi An!!! The family and team were super helpful and entertaining the whole way through. Even though my silk cutting skills was sub par, they were extremely encouraging and made me feel like a star! And my lantern turned out great in the end 🙏 Thanks so much for an awesome time! This class is amazing! Learnt about lantern history and names too. Really enjoyed this experience and the family is really nice.

What a fabulous experience!! NO matter what your level of skill (or not), everybody left with a lantern to be proud of. Beginning with a history of the lantern, and the different types of lantern, we were guided step by step through the process. There are two options - for the less confident/time poor, you can choose your fabric and cover the lantern frame. For the more adventurous, you can create the bamboo frame and then cover the lantern in your choice of fabrics. Help is on hand, every step of the way. Fabulous, friendly, family- run business. Would highly recommend.

Such a great family experience! Even our pre-teen kids thought it was fun and cool. The hosts played music, chatted with everyone, and were generally interactive. The activity is short enough to also schedule other activities around it. This a good choice for all ages.

Really fun experience to do in Hoi An! The instructors were super helpful and funny! They explain you the steps on making the lantern but also fun facts about it!

The most wonderful 2 hours, we were entertained by such big personalities as we learned how to make our own beautiful lanterns. It was such a fabulous experience and very comfortable temperature despite the heat outside. Our party of 4 loved it !!

This was a magical experience from start to finish that we shared as a family. I can’t recommend this enough - even my hubby loved it! The lanterns collapse easily and we each have a handmade keepsake to take home from our time in Hoi An.

Perfect activity to do while in Hoi An, fits in with the theme of the trip and your own souvenir to take home! We booked the morning of the event so easily. The team made it all the better - they are funny, great atmosphere and so helpful. We made mistakes, they easily corrected them & they turned out perfect! They flatten to take home in your suitcase.
