Also, this was two separate tours and description doesn't mention that.
Nice touch to be picked up at hotel. City tour progressed just a bit more slowly than accustomed to. Opted not to go to The Middle of the World portion since we'd seen a similar site elsewhere on the Octavalo tour. Guides were great.
This tour provided the main areas of interest in Quito. The morning we went to the Equatorial Monument. The tour guide was excellent and she provide me with additional incite into Ecuador's culture. The first half of this tour ended at lunch and I was given a great reference for a local restaurant before the second part of the tour started in the afternoon.
The old town city tour was in the afternoon and we saw all the main tourist places.
I would definitely take this tour while your in Quito before going to the Galapagos.
The guide was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. These tours give you a taste of Quito.
THESE ARE TWO SEPARATE TOURS. IN THE MORNING YOU GET PICKED UP AT THE HOTEL THEN GO TO THE EQUATORIAL MONUMENT WHICH I ENJOYED THEN AFTER THE TOUR YOU ARE DRIVEN BACK TO YOUR HOTEL THEN ABOUT AN HOUR LATER YOU GET PICKED UP AGAIN AT YOUR HOTEL FOR THE CITY TOUR THEN AFTER THE TOUR DRIVEN BACK TO YOUR HOTEL SO THERE IS A LOT OF WASTED TIME
