This was so much fun! We had an excellent guide and tasted all types of food, much of which had been unfamiliar. I also felt like some of the food was the best examples of that type of food. In addition, we learned plenty of history and what we were looking at on our walk. My only caution is to wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking (which is good because you will need to walk off all those calories.)

Excellent experience, good variety of food including seafood and local candies! Visiting San Juan market was a cherry on the tart. Our guide Joss was very knowledgeable, considerate and friendly. She also made a whole photo session of the tour and shared it with the group at the end. Thumbs up!

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide, Josette, taught us so much about the history and culture of Mexico City through the lens of its incredible food scene. She also took photos of everyone throughout the tour and airdropped them to us at the end, which was a nice touch! Everything we tasted was incredible. This tour does require a bit of walking (a few miles in total), so that’s just something to be mindful of!

Our guide, Jimene, was the highlight of a very enjoyable and interesting tour. She was knowledgeable, funny, gracious, and -- a practical detail -- she did a great job of making herself heard, whether standing on a busy street, in the midst of a crowded food market, or wherever. She led us on a gastronomic adventure (amazing how much we experienced in just a few hours) that let us taste a wide range of Mexican foods and beverages, while sharing lots of interesting information about the neighborhood, Mexican culture and history, and all kinds of other things. I was especially glad to have an opportunity to sample food from a street vendor (it was delicious) and other small restaurants, cantinas, and shops, with full confidence that I would not experience gastrointestinal repercussions. I highly recommend this tour.

The food was amazing and very diverse. Our guide, Jimena, was a delight. She personable, funny and extremely knowledgeable about the best food locations, their history, and about the history of the city and architecture. She was very flexible and took all our questions. When I left my backpack at our first stop she allowed me to go back and retrieve it. She was very gracious and even teased me about it. I really enjoyed her company. I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent chance to try foods that you might normals overlook in Mexico. We ate across the spectrum : seafood, snacks, candies, vegetarian, traditional, pre Hispanic… Our guide, Jimena, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and she made sure everyone was comfortable and take care of. If you’re ready to go beyond tacos, take this tour! Highly recommend!!

The food tour was an amazing way to see the historic district, the unique market place and try amazing food! Come hungry, the portions are very generous! Our guide was very knowledgable and our group was really fun!
