What to expect
Please note: this walk is not at all strenuous. Obviously there's some stairs but this is done at a leisurely pace and suitable for almost everyone.

It will be necessary to carry small children as strollers are not suitable. If you bring a guest that’s under 18, it’s your responsibility to make sure the activities they participate in are age-appropriate.

Greg was a delightful guide and our tour was so much better than we even imagined! He took us to several artful stairways and told us lots of fun stories along the way. We walked up to a tiny park and got a great view all the way to the ocean. He also told us about the history of the city and taught us about native and edible plants. It made us love SF even more!! This was such a great experience! We visited two of the most famous mosaic staircases in SF, as well as some other stairways in San Francisco’s whimsical and hilly Inner Sunset district. Greg was a fantastic guide and a fountain of knowledge about the area’s history. Though I’ve been in the Bay Area for twenty years, I learned a ton of new and fascinating facts. Greg incorporated fun anecdotes, references to pop culture, took great photos of participants (great for dating profiles!), and even left us with a succulent to plant! Greg also had a great relationship with locals in the neighborhood and it was charming to witness this friendly community vibe that is often missing or invisible in urban environments.
