Hidden Gems on Monkey Mountain & Mable Mountain
Overview
Marble Mountains is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngu Hanh Son District, south of Da Nang city in Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).
All of the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels, and it is possible to climb to the summit of Mount Thuy. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains, making this a tourist destination.
The trip covers the highlights of Da Nang city:
1. Mable mountain
2. Fishing village
3. Coffee shop - you can try the egg coffee or coconut coffee.
4. Hidden Gem on Monkey mountain.

This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: The Marble Mountains, Hoa Hai, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 550000 Vietnam
We will start to pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang city. At there, I am gonna brief about experience. First stop, we will head to Marble mountain, the group of five hills, made of limestone and marble. You can have chance to see many caves inside the mountains that have been decorated as temple and Buddist sanctuaries for hundreds of years. Especially, you can have opportunity to ‘ go to the heaven ‘ then ‘ ‘ ‘ back to the hell cave ‘. There will also be plenty of time for photos. Then, you can visit the Non Nuoc traditional marble carving village at the foot of Marble Mountains. The village is famous for stone sculptures and handicrafts. After that, we are gonna fishing village with the great basket boat. At there, we will learn about how to make it basket boat and hear stories about the daily life of fishermen.
Last stop, you take a rest at coffee shop where is well-known for coconut coffee and egg coffee.

This experience truly was one of my favorites when visiting Vietnam for the first time. Loi is a one of a kind soul who shows how much he cares for and loves his job by giving you an amazing tour. This experience truly was one of my favorites when visiting Vietnam for the first time. Loi is a one of a kind soul who shows how much he cares for and loves his job by giving you an amazing tour. He also really cares about your comfort and safety. He is very passionate, friendly, and welcoming, greeting you with big smiles. I really felt safe with him the entire time. The hike up Marble Mountain is a little strenuous and slippery (but still doable from somebody who doesn’t hike often), so make sure to wear a good pair of sneakers. The views were so worth the little trek. Loi enjoys sharing his knowledge of these beautiful and sacred places. He does a great job of sharing stories of the people, their religion, and culture in Vietnam. He also takes insane and gorgeous pictures of you. I didn’t even have to ask! He knows where all the great spots are as he loves to take pictures of you enjoying the moment. Afterwards, he brought me to probably one of the cutest cafes I’ve ever been to (speaking as a former barista who’s been to plenty of coffeehouses) and we ended the day with a nice iced egg coffee. When in Vietnam, right? As a first time solo female backpacker from NY, I’m truly grateful for this experience, and I’ve learned so much from him. I can’t recommend him and his tour enough!! As a tour guide, Loi loves what he does and it shows in the services he provided! He was energetic, helpful and did his best to make sure his guests got the best out of the tour and out of Danang. He is very knowledgeable and gave good insights not just about the places we visited but about Danang city as well. He will also ask you questions about your interest to tailor the information that he would give you, and I love how he would always give an overview for whichever site we are visiting before releasing specific nuggets about the different spot, for eg, he would lead me to climb up to an exact spot in front of a big Buddhist statue before revealing a hidden sleeping Buddha behind, or he would reference some other tourist spot in Danang and explain how that is connected to whatever sight we are seeing. Oh and he takes excellent photos as well and would share them on google docs with you at the end of the tour! I really feel like I know the Marble Mountains and Monkey Mountains much better after the tour with Loi.JaniJayati

Such a wonderful experience. Loi was so friendly and knowledgeable. He showed me all the things that big tourist groups miss out on. Whether you’re traveling solo or not, this tour is worth every penny. Loi is one of a kind tour guide. He is so passionate about what he does and will befriend you instantly. He will tell you ins and outs of the Marble Mountains and whatnot. This is a must try in Da Nang!
