Sylvie did a great job pointing out a lot of detail that we didn't know existed! If you are staying in the romantic part of old town, I would recommend taking this tour early in the trip rather than later (although it was still amazing!). She has lived there for a long time, and knows just about everything there is to know about the area, so don't be afraid to ask! We did! Great job!Sylvie took 4 of us on an informative fun walk of PV. Learned some fun things and some educational things. We would all do another tour with Sylvie she is fun, energetic and incredibly personable.

There were four of us that did two tours with Sylvie. We did the Beach Comber Tour of four beach towns as well as the snorkeling tour a few days later. We all really enjoyed the private tour of the four different towns as Sylvie explained a lot about the culture and historical background of each of the towns. The beaches were all so beautiful and Sylvie was so helpful in guiding us to the best areas to walk around as well as providing tasty local food samples. We were able to stay as long or little amount of time in any one place or ask Sylvie to stop at any roadside shop/vendor we were interested in. Our snorkeling trip was nothing short of amazing! Our private boat took us out to the rock arches where we snorkeled with Sylvie to a great location where we were able to see tons of beautiful fish. Sylvie also brings her camera along to take photos of the group during the tours and then sends them to us for no extra charge. That’s a great perk to have! We all really enjoyed every bit of the personalized tours and would highly recommend any of Sylvie’s tours to future Puerto Vallarta guests, whether it’s your first time to PV or been there many times. We will be back for more tours with Sylvie because she is the best and it’s such a great and fun way to experience more of PV!!This is an amazing tour. This is an amazing tour. I’ve been on several tours with Sylvie and this tour is up there with the rest of them- excellent! Sylvie has lived in Vallarta for years and really knows her history of the area and also the flora and fauna on each and every tour. She speaks excellent English and is very personable as well. All her tours are fun! Her knowledge and experience outshine any other tour that is out there. I’ve been coming to Vallarta for years and she still teaches me new things each time I go on tour with her. This tour provides walking along several hidden beaches. It’s fun to walk along and just enjoy the beauty of Vallarta with the waves lapping up against the rocks and birds flying overhead. There are a few stairs and climbing over a few boulder rocks but Sylvie goes at a slow pace and provides rests if needed. I’m not a hiker at all, and it was quite manageable for me. Besides... I didn’t want to miss out on anything, lol. After the beginning walk of beaches and scenery, she enters Playa Los Muertos beach from the south and carries on going north to a beach bar restaurant to relax and have some really good green juice. Carrying on... walking the Malecon, Sylvie describes several of the brass sculptures by various artists that we are passing as well as offering history of the area. She continues on through neighborhoods and hidden streets offering local and cultural information, all the while making stops along the way to sample typical street food and to enjoy the typical food / snacks that locals enjoy too! If you get a chance to go, I highly recommend this tour with Sylvie. It is something you will always remember as a highlight of your Puerto Vallarta visit! THE BEST!
