Beginning The day, while advancing on the boat, The guides will give a detailed explanation of the safety rules, fishing methods, fish we can hunt and how it is recommended to capture it in function of the species; We will explain where we are going to go and what kind of background we are going to see and in what depth we are going to hunt depending on the climatic conditions and conditions of each hunter
Once in the hunting area, the guides will go to the front of the group of hunters and begin to look for the best sectors, caves, formations, or conditions so that each hunter can focus their attention on their apneas.
We will hunt at more than one fishing point, it will not always be at the same depth. This, as we said, will depend on what type of fish we are looking for, the hunter's abilities and the climatic conditions.

Incredible experience!!! My boyfriend and I did a half day spearfishing excursion with Mati and Santi and it did not disappoint!! They are amazing guides who teach you everything and remain patient with you! They provide excellent knowledge and make sure you are always having a great time. It was our first time spearfishing and i was a little nervous but they made me feel like a pro! we caught a grouper, king crab and 2 trigger fish! overall it was an amazing day and me and my boyfriend are already looking to do more spearfishing! 10/10 recommend!Such a cool experience! Incredible spearfishing adventure! Matias and Santi were the best - super personable guys, great guides, incredible ceviche chefs! We spent two half-days on and in the water with them in all kinds of water. My son and I had been spearfishing twice before, both times from shore in no more than 20'-30' of water - we were. a little anxious going any deeper. Matias and Santi took incredible care with us, started mellow, taught us proper breathing techniques, and worked our comfort level up to some deep open water! My son even spent some time on the bottom 70'+ down hunting for grouper. We had decent action - a handful of trigger fish (amazing ceviche!), a couple of mackerel, a shot at a barracuda, a silver runner... great times and phenomenal memories. The guys had a phenomenal underwater camera to capture it all too! We will definitely be fishing with them again when we come back to Playa del Carmen!
