My friends & I went rafting as a group trip while on holiday. The couple who run the business are PHENOMENAL. So patient and supportive, making sure we all felt comfortable and had the best time. This ended up being the highlight of our trip!

The water was cold but so refreshing! Had a great group from across the globe, guides were fun & great 1st time rafting

My husband & I had a blast! We went the 2nd to last day of the season- Cetina River is gorgeous! Our international guides were fun, informative & we would definitely come back again! As 1st time rafters- the river is perfect for beginners. Would highly recommend to all! (Swimming through a cave& cliff jumping at the end was very thrilling).

Amazing experience, great hosts and great guides that love what they do. We had Mateus (apologies if I got that wrong) from Argentina who was fantastic. All the other guides were great as well and its a good laugh when you pass another raft. We had a brief situation where we hit a rapid at an unfortunate angle (part of rafting) and my wife hurt her leg when some of us fell forward/backwards and Mat and the other raft guide upstream took action immediately with their knowledge and had both rafts row into a stopping point to assess her which shows how good these guys are at their job. For the cave you do have to climb a bit up and down and it is slippy so take grippy water shoes or a pair of sports shoes you dont mind getting wet to grip the rock as best possible - which I did not... There is the option to bypass the cave if you wish and your guide will ask you before hand as they have to pull in to a point so you can walk round it as once you commit there is a point that they are not allowed to have you on the raft for - however you can watch them do it and its very impressive. Honestly an unbelievable experience down a beautiful river with amazing people and its a class 1 so if you want an introduction to rafting this is it!

I went 5/10/23 & can say one of my top 3 tours since traveling throughout Europe for 6 months! Our guide Huseyin was an excellent instructor, extremely safety conscious and utilized team approach for instruction. His encouragement was definitely a factor in my completing the cave & cliff jumping! Also, to show my grandkids can always learn something new & check off the bucketlist. JUST DO IT!!!

It was perfect. Rafting, bathing, the cave, jumping in a fantastic landscape. With the perfect guide Mathias from Argentina (who made us learn a bit Spanish on top 🔝) and with perfect organization. First of all, the river is amazing! Second and most important, the Rafting Pirates are not only business - you can feel family vibe in their team also they support local community by working closely with small businesses. And the company name is related to area's history. We had a great time since the very beginning when we met the owner Neno, who entertained us well with the interesting facts about rafting and the area around us. Congratulations for doing so well when you had to step up for your wife, who's usually taking care of that part of the rafting adventure 😀 Later on we met our guide Matias who was greatly experienced and guided our team well through various rapids and more troublesome parts of the river. We were informed beforehand that his English isn't that well but we had no problem understanding and communicating with Matias during our trip - good job! The cave trip and jumping from the cliff were optional but were truly worth it - it's one in a lifetime experience so we recommend fighting your fear and doing it 😉 The whole staff had great energy and were doing everything to hype us up and make our day better so thank you everyone and keep up the good job! 😁

This was an amazing experience and we all left extremely happy with what we received. It lasted for a long while but it wasn't too tiring. We made a few stops to enjoy the water and also managed to have a another mini activity throw the cave which was really run. The hosts are really nice people and very accommodating. Overall this was a great activity and would deem it a bargain. I would defo recommend

Awesome experience! I recommend it to anyone looking for an active day out doing something a bit different. We had a great rafting guide, Nico, who made the activity a lot of fun and gave clear instructions for the rafting. The activity includes a swimming stop off, a water cave stop and a cliff jumping section (all optional), as well as water fights with other rafts. We did all of these, as did most of the other groups (7-8 rafts in total). One thing to note is for the cave part, it does involve a short, slippy climb to get out and through the cave (some people felt they didn't get enough warning about the climbing aspect) and the short swim in the cave is very cold, so may not be for everyone. There were a couple of scraped knees coming out of the other side. There is also one point on the river where you do have to get out and clamber down a slippy, rocky bank to continue. The rafting itself is fun, with spaced out sections of (apparently mainly level 1-2, and one 3) rapids, good for beginners, and plenty of calmer sections to practise on or try other skills like standing up. The cliff jump is about 15-16 foot and seemed safe. Things to note: - Toilets (portaloos) are available at the start and finish - Belongings can be left in a minivan during the activity - We didn't take phones in case we lost them, but actually this would have been fine with waterproof covers as you'd be very unlikely to lose them - Photos are 15 euro - There are small areas to change before and after - Coming from Split the minibus ride is pretty bumpy - At the start you get going pretty quickly so I'd be prepared to go as soon as you're off the coach

I would highly recommend this trip if you are in Split for a few days. Our guide Matti was fantastic, very capable of keeping us all safe but also made sure we had a lot of fun. The rapids were fun but so was just paddling along and taking in the natural landscape. The caves were the highlight, if you don’t go you are missing out. Thanks Matti for such a brilliant excursion.

EPIC! I was a little bummed that the river class for the rapids was kind of bland, but it does have a couple of spots that ramp up. That said, there's so much more than just the basic rafting. The views are spectacular, the guides are literally the best, and there is cliff jumping and a cool cave that you also can jump off a ledge within. You get to stop in one spot and go for a swim which sounds bland, but it's such a cool place that it really heightens the experience. We were on a cruise that didn't offer this excursion, but we got back with plenty of time to make our cruise departure time. It was one of our favorite things while traveling Europe. Definitely do it!

The whole experience was excellent. The punctual pick-up in Split, the welcoming and explanation at the river, our Raft-guide Ozzy was excellent and relaxed easy-going, the whole rafting experience with the extras (swimming, the cave and the cliff jumping) and the scenery on the river were amazing. The pictures they make during the trip, that you can buy afterwards, are of super high quality. All in all a top event I can highly recommend.

I’ve rafted before in more tricky rivers but this beginners 1-2 experience was still good fun and the 3 hour session takes you through beautiful scenery which is stunning. Our guide Mathias was fun, friendly and a careful instructor ensuring the 8 on the raft were suitably comfortable and guided. The cave encounter is good but definitely recommend beach / coral shoes as the climbing out on the rocks was quite tricky. Overall great fun had.

We loved our guide. He was funny and very directional and informative. The area was beautiful, the cave experience was so cool! Loved the whole experience, start to finish! Bring water shoes.

A great rafting experience. The instructor (Nico) was friendly and talkative. The rafting contained 1/2/3 grade river rapids but majority were one and two. There was also a chance to go through a cave, you got the option to walk round or go through depending if you wanted to complete the 10 second swim in cold water. They prepared you very well for all extra activities. There was also optional cliff jumping, with a camera man taking pictures which were available for purchase. Overall had a great day.

What an incredible experience. The rafting part was lovely, from quite sedate parts of the river with beautiful scenery all the way through to "La Bomba" which wasn't quite so sedate...! The extras really make this experience stand out though - swimming in the river, climbing through waterfalls and through caves and jumping off a cliff. Our instructor Hussain was the final ingredient to a brilliant day, he was fun, friendly and experienced. There are lots of rafting trips advertised if you're visiting Split, I don't think the others would be half as good as this one.
