The mangrove swamp cruise / safari was certainly worth the money. We saw so much, monkeys, bats, eagles, snakes and learnt so much about them and their habitats as well as the development and evolution of the geopark area.What a fascinating journey through this amazing geopark, the scenery and the natural beauty were just overwhelming. What a fascinating journey through this amazing geopark, the scenery and the natural beauty were just overwhelming. But what made this cruise really special was our guide Venosha, who was nothing short of impressive. Her extensive knowledge of everything before our eyes and her pleasantly friendly way with all the group, together with her genuine passion for nature and for protecting her country’s natural echo system, made the cruise quite exceptional. This was our highlight from Langkawi! We did the mangrove boat tour, 2.5 hour morning tour. We arranged it via our hotel so Junglewalla sent a bus to pick us up and return us after the tour. The tour is fantastic. Our guide, Vinosha, was great in talking through the history of the area, the forest, the animals and everything! The kids loved listening to her and had a great time talking to her about all the creatures and plants we saw. The tour was via a comfy boat, they tooks us well into the mangrove and saw walking fish, lots of types of crabs, puffer fish, needle fish, monkeys, snakes, lots of kites and eagles and the bats in the cave. It was amazing looking up close the mangrove plants, we had a stop to see the mudfish up close and the way back was via the open ocean, which gave us great views of the rock formations and forest. They are a responsible operator, not feeding eagles or monkeys, so do take that into consideration when booking a tour. This is a must-do for anyone going to Langkawi.Great tour, with very knowledgeable guide committed to preserving the mangrove. We spotted many wild creatures and were explained in details the mangrove ecosystem. We planted mangrove tree seeds to seal our own commitment. Very good organization. 5 stars.

I highly recommend this tour in Langkawi.The tour was splendid and boat comfortable. Our guide Venosha was absolutely amazing - knowledgeable and passionate about nature. The captain commandeered the boat very professionally and safely. We loved the fact that they did not feed the birds and monekeys, because it is bad for the nature.
