This was an awesome experience! We were lucky enough to schedule a same day evening cooking class with, Noodle, who was quick to respond with our preferred menu for the evening. She was professional, funny, and easy to talk to. She took our group to the local market to buy all the ingredients where she offered her great knowledge of each item we were picking up. Later we were taken to her place of business where we were able to cook up 5 different dishes. Her process in teaching was very efficient as we all were making different dishes at the same time. She made the entire experience super fun and her staff was great! I will be taking what I learned and will cook these dishes at home. Highly recommend! Book now!Magnus L

I got picked up at the hotel and together with a group of 8 we went to a local market to buy ingredients and then cooked for several hours. The whole endevour was fun and I learned learned a lot. Noodle is amazing and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend taking this course.

I originally wanted to do one of the cooking classes with 1000+ reviews but they did not have availability last minute. I choose this one because it had an evening class that included a market tour. It was very affordable compared to the other classes too. I was worried that because the price was so good I was going to get something watered down. If you are worried about that, take it out of your mind immediately. To put it into perspective, I was able to do another cooking class in Chiang Mai with thousands of 5 star reviews later in the week. This class was better which is what inspired me to write this. The chefs name for this class is noodle. Her kitchen was bright, friendly and clean. She keeps the classes small so you get individualized attention. They pick you up from your hotel and you get to choose exactly what you want to make. That is unique because most classes have a fixed menu. There are 5 categories ( 2 appetizer, 2 entrees, and dessert) and each category has 4 options to choose from. So you learn 5 dishes! We learned so much because my spouse and I choose different items. Then you head to the market and she walks you through choosing ingredients, detailing everything along the way. After her market tour, she lets you roam for 15 minutes on your own and ask her as many questions as you want. Very special touch. You then get back in the truck and head to the kitchen. thats where the magic happens. You get to make dishes with her instruction and then eat what you make. I cannot recommend this class enough. I am so glad those other classes were full that day cause I may have never given this a chance. At the end you get an awesome certificate and a cook book. I have traveled and done many cooking classes. This was, by far, the best.carowu2

Noodle is one of the most charismatic people I've met! Her English is much better than most as is her humour. It really made the experience a thousand times better. First we were picked up and dropped at a market where she explained many of the fresh produce and ingredients we were to be using in our recipes. We also had some time to walk around - at that point I was ready to just buy some cooked and grilled dishes because everything looked so yummy. Then we were dropped off at the school to begin cooking (beware, Noodle has an adorable black lab pup that will greet you). The course included 5 dishes (appetizers / curries / dessert) and thankfully she is there to taste-test before we all sit down and eat what we made. It was a great experience and I will never again take for granted the labor it takes to make a good curry!Nina M
