Erika was the best tour guide we had while visiting Medellin! She helped arrange our paragliding and coffee tour the same day so that it aligned well with weather conditions. She was very encouraging about paragliding (convinced my boyfriend to paraglide) and was super knowledgeable about coffee and history of Colombia. I loved her flexibility and how friendly she was during the drive and tour. She even took us to a place to grab breakfast and lunch. We had many laughs and enjoyed great music and conversation with her. I would highly recommend her!

We did the Guatape tour, rock climb, and jet skiing tour. It was an incredibly fun day, made all the better due to our amazing guide, Erika! From the moment she picked us up, Erika made it clear that we were in charge and she was just there to make sure we had a great time. Which we did thanks to her kindness, knowledge, and enthusiasm. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with this company!

The trip started with our pick up at our hotel in El Poblado, very easy and simple. Daniel picked us up and as soon as we sat down and he explained the history of the farm and the family, we were hooked. I loved the dogs and the family feel from the start. We felt welcomed and learned so much. From the coffee tastings, to learning about the entire process from seed to cup, to all the interactive and hands on experiences throughout the life cycle of a coffee bean. This being a private tour made all the difference and was well worth it, the entire experience felt personal and we learned so much. We felt at ease to hang out and ask questions, that were all answered to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested.

5/5 I had a fantastic private tour with Sarah. She was amazing! Communicative, funny, well-spoken (English-speaker here), and extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Both she and the tour operator let me know all of the pertinent details before the tour by WhatsApp and she picked me up/dropped me off directly at my hotel. This tour is for someone who is very passionate about coffee. You learn about every step of the process, the history of coffee, the steps involved in the growth of the coffee cherry, the factors involved in different flavour profiles and of course, there is a delicious tasting with different methods of preparation. You also get the chance to pick coffee cherries, which was fun! Would recommend!

An unforgettable experience. Thank you Sara.

By far, one of the best tours ever! The three of us received a private tour from Sara who is absolutely terrific! She and Andres communicated with us before the tour via WhatsApp providing helpful details and suggestions. We were hosted by Antonio and Paulo on their farm which is not far from El Poblado - without traffic, maybe 30 minutes - Sara shared info about the neighborhoods and offered suggestions for other activities. The farm is up a crazy hill in the mountains that Sara navigated brilliantly. Antonio and Paolo taught us four different ways to prepare coffee and even offered one for tea since I don’t drink coffee. My husband and our friend love coffee. There really is a difference in how coffee tastes based on its preparation. The part I loved the most was going into the fields and picking the beans. We had stunning weather. The views and foliage are gorgeous ! I agree with the recommendation to wear long pants and shirt. First, it protected me from the mosquitos (they have bug spray) plus I could go further into the fields without getting scraped with foliage, and lastly, I think I stayed cooler. They provide boots, poncho, hat, and the bucket to hold the beans. Upon returning from the fields, Sara explained how the beans are selected to become coffee and processed. This trip was educational, informative, and fun!

This was by far one of my favorite tours ever! Thanks to Sara, our bilingual guide, who is amazing! Antonio and Paulo, the father son duo who shared their farm with us, are so kind! I don’t drink coffee but my husband and friend love coffee! We were taught other ways to prepare coffee which now means my husband wants another contraption for his passion! LOL. I actually tried all the coffee that we prepared - I can appreciate why people like it but tea is my preference - which they accommodated - they also produce tea - and taught me how to properly weigh tea leaves for a consistently good cup of tea ! Now for the really fun part! We exchanged our sneakers for boots, received a poncho, hat, and basket so we could pick coffee beans! It was so much fun to learn about how beans are grown - fertilized to picking - I could have picked beans for hours - the views are stunning and activity satisfying! Then we returned to learn about processing - which beans become coffee - what happens to beans that fail - to removing skin, washing, drying, roasting - what a process ! I recommend you wear long pants and long sleeved shirt. I was more comfortable than a friend who opted for shorts and t-shirt.

Andres was the best tour guide. His knowledge of coffee and Medellin was the best. He answered all of our questions and gave an amazing recommendation for a great place to get lunch with our kids. He’s the best! I’d gladly do another tour with him and recommend this to anyone looking for a great time in Medellin.

The coffee tour was amazing and our awesome guide Laura took us through production of coffee from seed to cup. She was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We got to plant a seed, pick beans and see the whole process and taste at the end. The views were spectacular and Laura made it so much fun for our whole family!

Took the half-day coffee farm tour with Alejandro and we were so happy that we did it!! The farm was operated by a family and from the get go we already could feel the warmth from our welcomes by the family, and the animals on the farm. Alejandro did a great job explaining the intricacies of coffee beans and the process from trees to a cup of joe. We tasted different methods of brewing from pour over, Siphon to chemex and was served some local snacks made with plantain and cheese. Then we walked around the farm picking beans, and learning about different processes to turn the fruits to the beans we know. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I 100% recommend!!

This private tour was a definite highlight of a week-long trip to Colombia for our party of 4. Communication prior to the trip was timely and informative with regard to cost, method of payment, and details of the half-day itinerary. Daniel our guide was gracious, entertaining, and a wealth of knowledge about the coffee making process. Picking the beans was quite an experience, and one that we were glad to participate in. It made us appreciate the many steps that go into producing the final product. If we had stayed longer in Medellin, another trip with Daniel would have been a real treat -- thank you!

Corazon de Leon came highly recommended. We had traveled to Medellin for a wedding and were eager to explore outside the city. Alejandro was a terrific tour guide for our group. He picked us up at our hotel and regaled us with fascinating local history on our ride to the plantation. The coffee tour was interesting, informal and fun. It was hands on and we learned so much about the coffee bean process from start to finish. We picked the beans, sorted the beans, roasted the beans etc etc. Coffee, lemonade and homemade snacks were served by the staff. Alejandro was a wealth of information. If all the guides are as knowledgeable as Alejandro then you are in luck. Better yet, request Alejandro and you won't be disappointed. - Kristen J.
