Nghia and Zonitrip simply don’t disappoint. This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure to hit the road with her and like the first time around it was as wonderful to be in her company and discover yet another part of Viet Nam. What makes Nghia stand out is not only her goal to create an individual itinerary but her own curiosity and thus never ending desire and journey to learn about her country and its people; finding out about new things together with her guests each time she’s out exploring the beautiful north. It truly feels like you are traveling with a peer and friend rather than "just a guide". Nghia cares about the local communities, seeking to support them in carefully choosing their homestays and introducing you to their lives and causes. By connecting you to the locals she’s making your travel not only about the landscapes and nature but also about the people who live in it – giving you more context and an overall better understanding and longer lasting impressions. From my first travels with her two years ago I can now happily say that she’s become part of my family. Don’t hesitate, go on an adventure with her!My 3 days in Ha Giang were an amazing experience. My 3 days in Ha Giang were an amazing experience. I took over 300 pictures, walked around a Hmong village and stayed overnight in with a Lo Lo family. My tourguide, Kien was the best and extremely kind. We talked a lot about philosophy and tourism and the history of Vietnam. He was also a talented driver because we did over 80 miles a day and I rode on the back of him along with all our gear for 3 days. The facilities were CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. I was worried because I paid in full before the trip and I read so many horror stories. However, Nghia and Kien were so honest and kind. Them - along with the Hmong and Lo Lo people I met - really showed the goodness and hospitality that is truly in Vietnam. I will carry this experience with me and I hope they know how memorable this was for me.
