What to expect
Off roads experience across the pink sand dunes and to a slot canyon which we enter an do a leisurely walk 3/4 of a mile. These tours are private and guided by a tour guide with 50 years of experience an knowledge of the history of the area.

- If you want to where a mask that is fine, if you want driver to where a mask they will. Most of the time we are in open areas and open vehicals. The distance rule is easy to apply.

My husband and I took a tour with Kathy to Peekaboos canyon and it was the high point of our trip. You need a guide, knowledgeable of the desert and an off-road vehicle to get there. But Kathy did more than just safely deliver us back and forth. She lives in area for over half a century, and she knows every mountain, plant and business in the area. She explained the history and geology of the place, answered our questions about everything- from animal habits to how the local business community works. An artist herself she showed us the best spots and angles to take pictures - and made and sent some great ones too! And she recommended excellent spots for lunch and for afternoon hike in Zion. These are huge natural slots / cracks in the ground, which is mostly made of sandstone, deepened and polished by ocasional water floods over millions of years. One of the most beautiful natural formations I have ever seen. Knowledgeable native Navajo tour guides, small/private tour included in the price. We spent two wonderful hours there and totally lost track of time. It is an easy walk, with some stairs, cool temperatures even though it was very hot outside. Perfect! Totally worth the trip. pd. Be careful with the changing time zones in this area or you may miss your tour start time.
