Travelers understand the life of the Koli fisherfolk (the original inhabitants of Mumbai) and also witness the arrival and grading of 25 tonnes of fish. They also witness a one-of-its-kind fish auction of the famous Bombay Duck.

In the middle of night, when the sky is pitch black and the rest of Mumbai is fast asleep, the wholesale produce market in the neighbourhood of Byculla is a hive of frenetic activity.

Stop At: Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, DN Road Mumbai CST Area, Mumbai 400001 India
Possibly the most architectural stunning building in India, Victoria Terminus Railway Station, now CST, sees a record of six hundred and sixty thousand footfalls daily, making it the busiest station in Mumbai.
At dawn, the CST station also serves as the largest newspaper sorting area- here we witness newspapers of multiple languages being sorted by those who can barely read or write.

Incredible tour that shows what goes on in Mumbai before 8am, while most of the city still sleeps. Batul was an amazing tour guide - knowledgeable, friendly, and has a great sense of humour. One of our favourite experiences during our travels in India. Would highly recommend!

We did this tour with Namrata as our guide. We had our three children with us ages 17, 14 and 11. It is an excellent tour, completely worth the early start and Namrata was a fantastic guide. We were fascinated by all the stops and enjoyed every minute. The fish market was crazy busy and hectic. Fish is everywhere, there is no escaping it as it is being carried through the crowd on handcarts, on heads and in baskets. I would I recommend wearing shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting fishy, and prepare to have them washed soon after. The other steps were less hectic but just as interesting. Namrata made the tour fun and interesting.Adi and his team are absolutely amazing! They were professional, funny and knowledgeable. The tour of mumbai at dawn couldn’t have been given by a better group of people for my group of 16. I highly recommend them!

At 5am it’s really easy to get around the town. AnneThe tour was very informative and showed us some interesting aspects of Mumbai’s buzzing commercial lifestyle in the early morning. Our guide Adi was funny, knowledgeable and very friendly. Definitely a must do for tourists visiting the city for the first time!
