Bragi was a champ. He really is. We had sudden turn of bad weather that resulted to multiple road closures, thick show with strong gusts, no auroras, there were no ice on the diamond beach, neither the glacier was showing us its best; Welcome to the land of fire and ice lol.. BUT here's the thing, the trip was extremely memorable because Bragi made it special. My wife and I decided to take multiple packages, including the photography package for our pictures being taken, there were no regrets the pictures turn out stunning. Bragi made up for the "lost" time and opportunity with additional photoshoot on his own personal time (even though bad weather wasn't his fault at all) and we "found" many secret picture spots that are gems for phtographers. Those were not the only things that were "lost & found". I am already contemplating to do a complete Ring Road with Bragi soon.If you want to be packed into a van with people you don't know to only have 20 minutes at the sites and be herded sheep then a general run of the mill tour is for you. Arctic Shots will give you the exact opposite of that. This tour was great and Bragi took fantastic photos and helped me with mine as well. I highly recommend using Arctic Shots and you will not regret it either. My wife and I did the Glacier Lagoon tour 2 days ago, returning yesterday (Wednesday). My wife and I did the Glacier Lagoon tour 2 days ago, returning yesterday (Wednesday). Knowing that yesterday would be raining the whole day, Bragi suggested an early start on Tuesday so as to get in as much as possible. And we did but we didn't rush. I am interested in getting good photographs. Bragi was really accomodating about that, stopping at really photogenic places, suggesting the good perspectives, compostion and camera settings. My wife who is happy to just use her iPhone was not left out by Bragi either. We both learn a lot. We had waterfalls, lakes, mountains, glaciers and black sand beaches. It was not all photography and nothing else either. We had great conversations. It rained almost all the way on our return leg yesterday. We still saw and photographed some more places. Where it was too wet to get out, Bragi would place the car for me to shoot out the window. I have already booked him again for another tour. And if the weather cooperates, also a Northern Lights tour at night. Keeping fingers crossed. Bragi is definitely high on my recommendation list. His tours are good too for those who just want to see the sights without doing serious photography.
