Andrew McClay was our tour guide, and he was funny, energetic, enthusiastic, entertaining, knowledgeable and very pleasant! Not one single moment was boring, and the experience exceeded our expectations!! Absolutely recommend the experience because it was perfection!!

Andy was incredible! He is the most famous extra of all time. He made the tour fun, informative and it flew by. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

I had a lot of fun! I’ve never seen GoT before and went with my mum who loves it. But this tour has opened my eyes and I’m now watching it. Andrew was an amazing storyteller and gave us so much information and he was a lot of fun. I really liked that the clips were played before going to the places so we could visualise everything before hand.

Andrew was amazing! In have to say the weather wasn’t on our side, to windy, cold, rain but it is what it is. Disregarding that I enjoyed the tour, amazing landscape, beautiful views! For the group photo with the costume was awesome but we were missing some items like the banners and shields, but still was great. I wanted to see the nearby beach featured as Dragonstone and the door with the cool dragon that I saw on TripAdvisor but due the weather we couldn’t go but we went to see a castle an it was beautiful.

Absolutely amazing again! 2nd time for us and we brought our friends to experience what we enjoyed! Robbie, our tour guide, was full of knowledge and explained his own experience as an archer on the show. Our Driver Paul ws very professional too! Bus was comfortable and Air con was lovely. The whole tour was enjoyable. I didn't join in with some events due to back injury but absolutely love the trip for the number of different views you experience and the trip around the northern island coastal route is worth the money alone! The westher was against us but Robbie ans Paul made sure we got everything we could in before Storm Kathleen tried to put a stop to it. Only shame was the rope bridge no longer being on the tour but hey ho. Thoroughly enjoyable day had by all. Fullerton arms lunch was absolutely gorgeous and worth the money. The burgers were so fresh and juicy and the seafood Chowder went down a treat too! Thanks, Robbie and Paul, for such an amazing experience!!

We were a bit unsure about this tour….the length, the weather, just didn’t know if we could be bothered. We are SO happy that we decided to go. It was the best tour we’ve done by far! We had so much fun and have so many memorable photos. Paul, our driver, was such a friendly guy, but the tour was made by our guide, Andrew. He was absolutely amazing and kept us laughing and entertained all day. If you are a GOT fan, this tour is a must.

Our host, Andy, was brilliant from the start. Stories and behind the scenes info from his time as a GoT extra kept us entertained between and at the stops. They arranged the costumes for one stop with swords and axes too. Excellent day.

Been on many different tours all over the world and this as to be one of the best tours I have ever been on, great to have such an animated passionate tour guide in Andy. His stories about his time as an extra were so funny and informative, that he even kept my partner (who has never seen a scene of Game of Thrones but had come to keep me company) thoroughly entertained. Great the way they show you the stills and actual videos of where the scene took place, fun to dress up as extras, and gave you enough time at each spot so never felt rushed would definitely recommend and well worth the money. Even the pub where they stopped for lunch was lovely.

This was my 34th country so I consider myself well traveled with lots of tour experiences. I must say I don’t think I have ever been so entertained by a tour guide (Andrew). I normally wish I could wander away from guides or pull out my phone or wish they’d just stop talking so I can sleep on the bus. But this guy was the real deal. He was animated and very passionate about Game of Thrones. He has enough energy for a whole army on a battlefield. Thanks for a great day!

You get to see a massive amount with this view. So many of the biggest and most popular locations from the series are in this single tour. This tour also shows a lot of beautifully scenic cliff and ocean views, game of thrones fan or not you get some wonderful pictures and an amazing experience out of this. I love that whenever you go to a new location the tour guide will show you the scene from the movie so you can fully picture it and see how much has changed. My tour guide, Richard was also a delight he was very fun, charismatic and best of all had actually experienced the set of game of thrones. He could give you a massive amount of insight both on the filming of the show, his experiences and what it was really like to act on it. Richard also has a great knowledge of filming locations from the show and gave us lots of advice on where we could go next. My only minor issue with this tour is I feel it is slightly too pricey, but with just how much you get to see, all the photo opportunities and amazing scenery, the amazing tour guide with amazing stories and expertise and the fact you get to wield real prop swords from the show. It definitely manages to match the value decently well.

We were in our honeymoon and we are both big fans of Game of Thrones. It was a VERY GOOD tour, all the places we visited are beautiful and our guide Richard is a really nice guy, very funny, gave us a lot of interesting information and made our trip perfect!

If you are a big fan of GOT, I strongly recommend you to take this tour with the original Game of Thrones Tours, with Richard Hodgen (extra in Seasons 5 and 6). You will enjoy his comments of every place you visit and the customs, swords and shields are the best!

My husband and I went on this tour for our honeymoon and had the greatest time! Robbie was our guide and he told great stories of his time on set, and really helped us feel immersed in the tour. We would recommend this to anyone who is a huge GoT fan, or just for anyone who wants to see some really beautiful places around Ireland!

This was a fantastic long day out made even more memorable by the guide Andrew he was hilarious and kept everyone entertained all day especially with his stories as an extra Visited various locations plenty of photo opportunities lovely stopover at pub for lunch. Honestly one of best tours we have ever done & definitely recommend to anyone

What an amazing experience! Our guide Richard had so many great things to tell and stories to share as he was an extra in the serie. The views were amazing, we were a cool group and I have taken so many photos, will take a while to edit them. If you ever plan on doing the GoT tour, be sure to book with these guys, you won’t regret !!!

I wanted to leave a positive review for Game of Thrones Tours company because even though the tour we booked was unexpectedly cancelled, the customer service was very good. We were notified less than 48 hours before our scheduled tour but the Game of Thrones Tours team member provided a detailed explanation with several options to still have the chance to rebook. We were really disappointed but because we received such thorough information, we were able to book another tour on short notice during our 48 hour stay in Belfast. This team was also very timely about processing our refund and replied quickly to my follow up inquiries. Things happen out of our control, and this company still did the right thing!
