When Ron walked towrards us with a big smile, we knew we were in good hands! Ron drove us around Israel for 7 days. He is a source of infinite knowledge. Whether you have historical, practical, political, touristic questions, Ron can give you the answer with humor and accuracy. Although he didn't travel with us to Jordan, he helped our visit there with the advice he gave us. When you travel with Ron, you feel like you are hanging out with a friend who is welcoming you in his country with tremendous hospitality. All 5 of us enjoyed his stories, his explanations (our 15 year old could not get enough of the historical/political explanations). Ron speaks French and English very well, it is a delight to listen to all he has to share. He is truly funny, a great heart and a great ambassador to his beautiful country. TODA!Ron is amazing! We just returned from a 9 day tour through Israel with Ron which was the trip of a lifetime for our three generation 6 person family group ranging in age from 13 to 82. Ron led us everyday, and we travelled throughout Israel from Jaffa/Tel Aviv to Galilee and Golan Heights to Jerusalem to Dead Sea and Masada. Ron is an amazing person, kind, very interesting and a pleasure to be with. As a guide he is extraordinary, and knows everything we could possibly imagine. He would lead conversations about different areas of interest, and was also flexible to speak about whatever specific subject we would request, whether recent history, politics, ancient history, biblical history, anything and everything. He knows everything! He always had a plan for what to do, but was also willing to change or revise plans based on what we wanted to do-with no issues or concerns. Happy to accommodate. What Ron spoke about was equally interesting to my 82 year old father and 13 year old daughter, and he was able to speak at levels interesting to all. His English is also perfect. Ron’s extensive knowledge and warm personality was an unexpected added bonus as we learned about the vast history and culture of Israel. As we planned a very ambitious itinerary within a short time frame (only 7 days) it was essential that we had structure as well as flexibility, and Ron could not have made it easier or more rewarding. By the end of our journey, we considered Ron to be a part of our family and we are extremely grateful for having him guide us. We have just returned from a 2 week trip to Israel and Jordan. For 7 of those days the two of us were under the expert care and guidance of Ron Lev on a tour specifically designed for us. On arrival we had a very badly damaged bag and were wondering how we were going to replace it. No problem. The first thing Ron did when he picked us up the next day was to ask if we needed anything before we started touring. He took us directly to a luggage store and our problem was immediately solved. He doesn't just drive you around and point out places. His overwhelming knowledge of his country and its history makes all of the sites come to life. His willingness to explain and answer all of your questions (in perfect English) only adds to the quality of your trip. His warmth and attention to every detail makes you feel like you are traveling with a friend who has just been waiting for you to arrive. He didn't travel with us to Jordan or Palestine but his advance knowledge of those places made them even more interesting to us.
