Stop At: French Riviera Wine Tours, 06000 Nice France
With your wine tour guide, discover the rich heritage and the story of the appellation of Bellet. Visit the wineries who are in charge of preserving a long tradition of winemaking.
After a morning dedicated to this very special wine region, enjoy some free time in Saint-Paul de Vence, a charming medieval village made famous by the artists who have lived here. Its cobbled stone streets and scenic views of the Mediterranean have created a place you won’t forget. You will also have a break for lunch there.
In the afternoon, you will go to a unique family-owned winery. You might be more than surprised to discover their winemaking process, inspired by the ancestral winemaking methods. It creates, as a result, unique wines that taste like no others. It will be the perfect conclusion for your relaxing and educational wine tour about French Riviera wines!
You will meet your english-speaking wine expert guide at 9am in front of our meeting point (centrally located) in Nice.
Your guide will drive you in a clean, comfortable & A/C minivan accommodating up to 8 people maximum.
Around 9.30am, you will arrive in the wine region of Bellet, located at the north of Nice.
You will visit 2 wineries in the morning, get about 1h30 free time for lunch in the beautiful medieval village of Saint-Paul de Vence, a charming village made famous by the artists who have lived there, and then visit a 3rd winery in the afternoon.
You will taste a selection of whites, dry rosés and well-balanced reds along the day.
You will be back to Nice around 4.45pm to the same place where we met in the morning (starting point).
We select different types of wineries in order to offer you the opportunity to see different ways to work. We have developed partnerships allowing us to take you behind the scenes: from the winemaking & aging rooms to the bottling lines, you will see everything!
Your guide will also explain you about the soil, the climate, the grape varieties, the famous "terroir" but also the picking, pruning, green harvesting and many other subjects in a relaxed and educational way.

We decided to take a tour instead of renting a car and going solo. We made the correct choice. Our guide, Peter, was entertaining and knowledgeable. He was a safe driver. We visited 2 small wineries in Bellet area. Visited the town of St Pau de Vence for sightseeing and lunch on our own. This is a walled city, intact, that allows one to walk on the wall and enjoy scenic views. In the afternoon, we visited a small boutique winery that ages some of its wine in jugs sitting outside on the wall. We visited with George, the owner and winemaker. We purchased 8 bottles of wine throughout the day while on the tour, but there was no pressure to purchase. Highly recommend this tour!My wife and I along with two friends had a terrific day of wine tasting in the Bellet region. My wife and I along with two friends had a terrific day of wine tasting in the Bellet region. Our guide, Peter, was knowledgeable, engaging, and just a lot of fun to spend the day with. Also, the customer service from Marion during the booking process was fantastic. Their vehicle is clean and comfortable and meeting them in Nice in the morning was simple. Highly recommend using them for a day of wine tasting.Amazing day. Generous samplings and lectures. Nice lunchtime visit to St Paul de Vence. Gigi was an excellent driver, efficient organizer, friendly personality, excellent knowledge, superb guide. Have been on several good all day wine tours in Europe, but enjoyed this one the most.

Dom två mindre gjorde hela turen och speciellt Georges R, gjorde ett oförglömligt intryck. Bra och kunnig guide med lång erfarenhet.

Great tour, great guide(GiGi) and great wine! The scenery was breathtaking, especially at Château de Crémat. Lunch in Saint Paul de Vence was a highlight, too. Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from; 2 of us opted for a quick lunch so we could explore more, while the other 2 enjoyed a finer dining experience. I highly recommend this tour, even if you’re not much of a wine drinker(which I’m not). Thank you for a great day, GiGi!Good day trip from nice. Wine drinking starts early which can be a good or bad thing - recommend eating breakfast :)
