We had an amazing experience on this trip. Paul and Rich were always there whenever we needed them but gave plenty of opportunity to ride at our own pace. The "extras" in addition to cycling (floating on the river, exploring the Sooke potholes, small nature tour in the forest) were well thought out. The terrain and scenery were, of course, spectacular. Food and accommodations were excellent. The added bonus of meeting some new friends was the icing on the cake. Myself and my wife visited our son in Vancouver last month and have to say the highlight of our visit was a cycling tour of Vancouver Island.Paul picked us up at 6.30 a.m and until he dropped us off at 9.00pm it was sheer enjoyment. It rained that day but no one in party of three complained..We just ploughed on regardless enjoying every minute. Paul is the quintessential guide with a great sense of humour who loves what he does and does it well. For a 65yr old I surprised myself (and my wife and son) not having been on a bike in over 40yrs. Because of Paul's enthusiasm I have since I returned to Ireland taken up cycling and found a new sense of freedom. Thanks PaulPaul was great-we went on the tour on a relatively warmer day, be prepared to sweat (and be in shape). I like combining my fun (eating, wine, site seeing) with exercise. This was a nice blend of the two.. it also gets you away from Vancouver and you get to see Vancouver Island. Enjoy!

Paul was a brilliant tour guide. Newbies to Vancouver should put this tour as their No 1. Cycled through beautiful woodland & countryside. Finally ended up in Victoria for a wonderful lunch.
