Full Day Tour to Mindo with Friends! (English)
Overview
Mindo is a beautiful valley located two hours northwest of Quito, on the western slopes of the Pichincha volcano. This place offers amazing natural landscapes and many adventure activities. Once you arrive in Mindo's cloud forest you will visit a butterfly farm and hummingbird feeders. Don't forget your camera! The adventure continues with canopying, with 13 zip lines of different lengths that range from 20 to 400 m and with different characteristics for adventure seekers of all ages. If you prefer another activity, we also offer the option of riding in a tarabita (a small cable car) and hiking across the cloud forest to visit beautiful waterfalls. After all of these exciting activities, you will have a break for lunch. Before departing from Mindo you will visit another special spot for birdwatching.

El tour a Mindo es recomendable, el conductor que me llevo también fue buen guía. Lo que no es recomendable es hacerlo con la agencia que lo ofrece. Hasta el día antes del viaje (supuestamente confirmado) no me dijeron que no había suficientes personas para el tour, y porque yo consulte. Como era...
El tour a Mindo es recomendable, el conductor que me llevo también fue buen guía. Lo que no es recomendable es hacerlo con la agencia que lo ofrece. Hasta el día antes del viaje (supuestamente confirmado) no me dijeron que no había suficientes personas para el tour, y porque yo consulte. Como era mi única oportunidad para ir y ya no daba tiempo a buscar otra opción, tuve que pagar por el tour en total 180 dolares, siendo el supuesto almuerzo o bebidas incluidas, un máximo de 5 dólares, lo que superará ese precio se lo tenía que pagar uno. Creo que con lo que se paga al menos podrían dar un almuerzo de 10 dolares, o incluir alguna entrada (mariposario, colibris...etc), ya que solo incluía el chófer y el almuerzo.607kashah

It was a decent tour! We were able to see and do a lot and had private transportation to, from, and around Mindo. However, I thought we were going to hike to more than just one waterfall (we didn’t) and experience more of the forest. Additionally, Mindo is known for its variety of bird species and our guides did not seem to know anything about the birds or local flora and fauna. We were able to do a lot still in a day, but I would recommend going with an expert in wildlife.paulcR8856RC

Absolutely wonderful! Oscar was extremely kind and considerate and the tour was paced very well. All of the activities were great, and he even helped to find my friends lodging for later that evening

Had an excellent day with the tour to Mindo. The driver Jimmy was very nice and the guide David showed the best spots in Mindo. On the way they also told me interesting facts about each village that we passed. Overall would recommend this experience!!
