There were four people in my group that utilized Atlas Discovery Tours for a day trip to the Agafay Desert with a camel ride. Everything went smooth and was amazing! I inquired via email and Abdou was very prompt to respond with pricing (50 euros per person) and the details. Abdou was punctual in picking us up from our Riad (in Marrakech). We drove to the location, rode camels for an hour, and then we were served mint tea in one of the traditional Berber tents. The only tourists present was my group of four so It was great to take pictures without a million people in your shot (ha)! We then rode in Abdou’s 4x4 through the desert (that was fun) and up to the Atlas Mountains. The drive was very picturesque. We stopped at a traditional home and ate lunch on the terrace under the mountains, it was breathtaking, and photos do not do it justice. The lunch was delicious. We had soup, chicken tagine, I can’t remember the name of the bread, and mint tea. My husband wanted the traditional outfit that the men wear in Morocco, so when he mentioned that, Abdou was more than willing to take us to one of the shops so my husband could purchase one. We were then taken back to our Riad. Abdou was very pleasant, professional, and more than willing to stop for photo opportunities. My group thoroughly enjoyed the day tour and we HIGHLY recommend Atlas Discovery Tours. Thanks, Abdou!!costabileandreab
