This day trip was one of the nicest I have done. The guide was very professional and gave a lot of insightful information during the trip and above all a very pleasant person to talk to. He arranged a great selection of food during the trip too! The boat trip was great and because of the fog on the lake gave it a surreal experience, it was in total a ~20 min trip. A very calming ride. After we reached the other side we walked through a very nice grassland to a nearby village which was a very nice experience, to say the least. At the village, the guide introduced me to the various ways how the village self-sustained itself including. After that, we drove to the old-capital where we met with the manager of the property, a heritage conservationist who explained the great history of this place. Altogether a very memorable experienceA wonderful one day trip. Sonargon and the boat trip are worth a visit. Very good and professional guide that makes the trip a very good memory.

My tour guide Jafar was great. He spoke English very well and I understood every word. I had many questions about Bangladesh and Islam and he answered all of them. Very nice guy and if I come back for more tours I will try to get him. The flow of the tour was smooth and all stops very interesting. I liked the local lunch spot he chose and he knew his way around with no hiccups. The driver Mr. Nasir was also excellent and we toured in his personal Toyota car.Amazing trip! Tour guide is super professional, on time, respectful and took us to some beautiful sights. Definitely a must if you're visiting the city.
