That are the most important reasons why I am writing this bad review for Flashpacker Connect. The entire experience was like walking through a dream! Our guide, Noah, was very kind and personal to our group, which definitely made the experience all the better. As a very experienced guide, he took us up to Rainbow Mountain in the best route available at an early enough time that we were able to beat the vast crowd of tourists. This gave us 45-60 minutes to just enjoy the spectacular, otherworldly view by ourselves. This trip was worth every penny, and every hard breath of air it took to reach the summit! Noah is also a professional photographer and took some amazing photos for each of us. I highly recommend this to everyone! Could not have asked for a better experience.Me and my girlfriend just got back from Peru and it was a once in a lifetime experience. We did the full day Cusco to rainbow mountain tour. Me and my girlfriend just got back from Peru and it was a once in a lifetime experience. We did the full day Cusco to rainbow mountain tour. It was perfect. They showed up on time. The van was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were picked up at 3:30am and they provided breakfast, pillows and blankets. They also provided lunch after we left the mountain. The driver Mario, did a great job maneuvering through the dirt roads and changing landscapes. Our guide (sadly I don’t remember his name) spoke Spanish and English fluently. He provided great insights into the culture and landmarks that we were passing/ going to. He even offered to take pictures of us so that we would be able to keep the memories forever. This was our second tour with flash packer. Both were excellent. Great company. I highly recommend using them.We were in a super-small group - just two people, so plenty of space in the bus to resume sleeping during 3 hours drive to the place. We were in a super-small group - just two people, so plenty of space in the bus to resume sleeping during 3 hours drive to the place. Our guide Joaquin timed our start to beat the crowds (and it does get quite crowded later in the day) and adapted our return path according to the weather. Everything went smoothly, although altitude and lack of oxygen were very noticeable so it was quite unusual and physically demanding. We didn't get too lucky with the view - it was fairly cloudy on that day, but we got some snowfall. Oh, and the tour included an amazing lunch afterwards - lots of food, proper Peruvian cuisine. Yum!The pick up at our hotel in Cusco was on time. We got blankets and pillows for the 3 hour drive. The bus was clean and the seats were comfortable. The pick up at our hotel in Cusco was on time. We got blankets and pillows for the 3 hour drive. The bus was clean and the seats were comfortable. When we arrived we had breakfast with inkludet coffee, coca tea and one sandwich each. We also got a lunch paket with some snacks. After that we started our hike. We have been the first one on top which was a great feeling. Our guide Joaquin was amazing! His english was very good and he explained a lot about the area. He also introduced us to local specialties like fried alpaca. When we arrived on top the mountain was fully coverd in snow. So our guide offered us to wait on top a little longer till the snow is melting. We choose to do that an skip red valley instead so that we could see rainbow mountain. On our way back we stopped for lunch with was prepared by our cook Mario. We could try many peruvian food which was delicious! Our driver which is also called Mario drove us save to all the places. Amazing tour!
