Full-Day Plitvice Lakes Tour from Split
Overview
Upon arrival, guides will collect your entry tickets and lead you to the park. You will spend around 5 hours inside the park, and the guided tour will last about 4 - 4, 5 hours. Besides the walk, we are going to explore Plitvice lakes by boat and electric train. Later, you have approximately half an hour of free time, and then we will start our trip back to Split. On our way back, you will be provided with snacks and a bottle of water.
On this tour, you will see one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world composed of sixteen lakes, connected by 92 waterfalls, which cascade through its picturesque surrounding. Plitvice Lakes were declared a National Park in 1949, and since 1979, they have been on the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage.

We spent a day at Plitvice Lakes National Park in a beautiful natural environment and we enjoyed every moment. The staff of the GO Adventure Travel is very friendly, professional and pleasant and will never forget our adventure during our stay in Croatia. Croatia and Split are amazing, we liked everything, from the sea, food, hospitality and the highlight of our holiday was the Croatian pearl Plitvice. We are amazed by the beauty and nature in the Park. Our guide Ljubo is very knowledgeable, kind and patient, which is very important for such a long day full of activities. The staff of the Agency, the bus, the breaks, they simply took everything into account so that we could enjoy the trip. Our 11-year-old daughter was with us and it is important to point out that the Agency is attentive to children and their needs. There is a decent amount of walking, but it is all mellow and the tour moves at a slow pace with lots of time to take pictures. In the park, this tour includes a boat ride, which was beautiful and gave us the opportunity to see the park from another angle. The park is well maintained. Our tour guide, Vice, was fantastic! He had a lot of interesting information to share with the group and was always ready to answer any questions we had or even just to make conversation as we walked. He offered to take photos of us and offered his recommendations about other things we could do in the Split area. I could tell that he really wanted us all to have a good time. This park was truly the most beautiful place I visited during my time in Croatia. I could not recommend this excursion enough!The best of Croatia!!!
