On this full day excursion, we will take you to visit places that are not very well-known or visited by tourists. These are the HIDDEN CORNERS of Mallorca: places that we, at NoFrills Excursions, know thanks to our experience.
This is an ideal excursion for those clients that already know Mallorca well and would like to take part in a new and different excursion. It is also a great opportunity for those who would simply like to get off the beaten track a little and see the most authentic and traditional side of the island.
We will start with a visit to Muro, a town that is just a few kilometres away from the busy tourist resort of Playa de Muro but which feels like a million miles away due to its sleepy nature and traditional culture. Our guide will give us plenty of information about Muro's traditions and customs and we will then have some free time to explore for ourselves.
Next we will visit the beautiful town of Arta, where we will give you time to wander around or enjoy the local weekly market. Arta is a stunning town with delightful shops and cafes lining its main street which is crowned by the Sant Salvador Monastery from where there are amazing views of the surrounding countryside and towns. we will stay for around two hours in Arta so that you have time to visit the town and the market and to stop in one of the many pleasant street cafes or restaurant for something to eat, as we will be here at around lunch time.
Later on we will visit Els Calderers, a traditional manor house in the Mallorcan countryside, which has been restored to its former glory so that visitors can see how a real working Mallorcan ‘possessió’ functioned in the olden days.
Our last stop is at the aloe vera farm with a guided visit and the chance to test some of their products.

We booked 2 tours when we arrived in Alcudia. This and the case of Drach Having an 8 year old we were sceptical whether he would be entertained, but even he gave the day 8 out of 10 Albert, our tour guide and Jaume our driver were amazing. We started on a coach heading up into the mountains. I for one suffer with travel sickness and the winding country mountain lanes didnt help but once you stop off the views are amazing and you soon forget about everything Albert our guide was great at giving info. Interesting and funny at the same time. Gave clear instructions on time allowed at each destination and where to go and when. The boat ride was nice and the old tram and train ride was amazing and enjoyed by our son The stop off at the port was good too, lots of places to eat and buy gifts. Would highly reccomend No Frills tours. Thank you Albert and JaumeAt the beginning of May, I took the Hidden Corners of Mallorca excursion from Port de Pollença. We managed to secure a last minute place on this trip and we are so glad we did. The experience you recieve for €35 was above and beyond expectation. Every part of our itinerary was brilliant, the only complaint was that we wished we had more time to spend in the beautiful areas they brought us. Jennine our tour guide was very pleasant and Fernando our driver was a warrior behind the wheel getting through the narrow streets bringing us onto our next destination. We will be booking with this company again.A new tour to us this year and thoroughly enjoyed the day. As usual our Guide was imformative and helpful and the driver excellent and skilled. A new tour to us this year and thoroughly enjoyed the day. As usual our Guide was imformative and helpful and the driver excellent and skilled. Arta was very nice and worth the visit to the town church alone. Highlight was the visit to Els Calderers Mansion. Fabulous place and wonderful example of A period building and life in it. Lunch was for us a little underwhelming but certainly didnt take away from the rest of the day. Again at the Aloe Vera farm our host Rolph was very interesting and informative. So glad we did this tour this year.Great day out with the informative Jeannine & our very careful & skilful driver Sebastia. We really enjoyed the visit to Arta & The Els Calderers.
