Enjoy a 50-minute boat ride from Eiserner Streg (Mainkai) in central Frankfurt and choose between going upstream to Gerbermühle (Offenbach) and back or downstream to Frankfurt-Griesheim and back.

Very disappointing... we couldn’t hear a thing inside the boat. The volume of the explanations was clearly too low + people do not seem to go on these “cruises” to learn about the city but to have a drink and chat with their friends. No one seemed to pay any attention. Very few explanations. We did the so called “sky light tour” which was a huge disappointment. 90% of the tour is power plants and garbage sites. I hope the other way is not as bad, as this was a waste of time and money I’m afraid. Besides, if you want to have a drink with your friends why go on a boat that cruises by the rubbish sites?We took the 50 min cruise, on a hot day. We were lucky enough to ask a couple if we can share the table under cover which was good out of the hot sun.. The cruise itself was fine , you see some of the more modern buildings..the commentary was in German but the lady we were seated with did fill us...

There wasn't that much to see , yet was told it was better than the one going to the other side of the river.... They serve meals/drinks on board as well service was good . If you are looking for something to do ..its fine but nothing too special in my opinion...Booked the 100min cruise up and down the river. Great way to spend a few hours sightseeing the city. All in all good value
