Stop At: Jackson Heights, Jackson Heights, Queens, New York
Forty-eight percent of Queens resident are foreign-born, many of them residing in JACKSON HEIGHTS. Stroll along its main streets to find retail shops and restaurants featuring Latin American and Asian merchandise and food. And so this two-hour tasting tour adventure begins at 12:00pm noon on Tuesdays or Saturdays at the crossroads of one of the busiest train stations (#7, E, F, M and R), on the NW corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 74th Street.
Besides stops at Latin American and Asian food shops to sample seven (7) tasty ethnic morsels, you will have the opportunity to peer into or visit the retail stores with their displays of finery and jewelry. P.S. Don’t forget to bring along a sack for any purchases to take home.
